Oh man this game brings back childhood memories.. It was my first video game. I used to always go with Antonio Albacete's red MAN truck while my dad went for Gerd Kurber's truck. Later on in life I got to travel to truck races in Europe with my dad, and we'd cheer for our favourite drivers. I also got to meet my favourite driver, Antonio Albacete in person and experience the joys of truck racing. Funny to think that that was already 10 years ago.. The game was also my first introduction to vehicles, both cars and trucks. The game inspired me to draw trucks, and in later years I've been following a design route in life and have designed trucks for Volvo. It's amazing how one game that you played in your childhood can influence your entire life so much.. Need to get out the old PS2 and see if I can get the game working after all these years..
im only 16 but man this was fun i had it for my ps2 and it was a lot of fun .. i used to use the cat truck cuz yellow is my fav color and it looked cool lol ... but man i always was like.. whats the name of that awesome game.. so glad i found it
I am pretty sure this was my first game on my first game console. It wasn't anything special when you look at it, it wasn't my favorite game, but it still holds a special place in my childhood.
I remember playing this game when I was six years old, it was way back when we lived in an apartment several blocks away, god this game gave me a ton of memories, was this game a masterpiece to me? Not really, but I loved the game simply because it gave me memories, this is a highly underrated title for the PS2, I actually saw it along with a boatload of other PS2 games at a pulga (flea market in Spanish) I wanted to get it along with the PS2 console that was also there so that I could a full-on nostalgia ride, but I only had a few bucks and I know that the PS2 and the game would cost more than a few bucks, but watching this video took me way back to my childhood, it's not Forza-quality and its definitely not Gran Turismo-quality, but honestly what do you expect from a game called Super Trucks Racing, this is a game purely meant for fun, it's not the most complex game and it's not a masterpiece but it's an extremely fun game, and it's one of those things that makes me feel like a kid again
I don't play this game often, but it is fun once you know the controls. I usually put on the hardest difficulty along with the warning flags and manual transmission to simulate the actual truck races.
It's interesting that in this North American NTSC version of this game, the intro still uses the original European title, "Super Trucks," and then it goes straight to the North American title in the main menu.
This was my first game ever on the play station 2 it brought me back good memories and I loved how the main theme pops up every time I load up the main menu it's cool lol love how the engines sound and I used to remember my dad getting frustrated😂 because he drove off the track lmao
The only thing wrong in the description is the fact that you said gasoline in association with the racing semis which would barely even be able to move with a gas engine
Drive637 This is one of the first video games I remember playing (on the ps2 at the very least). Regardless, as a kid, I took every opportunity to play this game.
+DaLatinKnight it's a part of our childhood ^^ my very first PS2 game was Burnout 2 (and I still play it on it and xbox now). As far as I can recall the way I played, I crashed at every corner, now I entered the World Crash Rankings x)
Drive637 I think I grew in affinity for the Burnout series because with this game I would love to just push all the trucks off the road or crash with them head on.
That's strange. I never knew that case where a North American NTSC console game release contains more content than what other regional releases have to offer. No wonder this Romanian TH-cam user played this version instead of the European PAL version, "Super Trucks." Thanks for revealing that information!
@@CEO100able Neither did I until I bought the PAL release again. I was wondering why later championships had always repeating tracks and something seemed off
Does anybody know how to beat the final Grand Prix? I can’t qualify for a better starting position because the AI lap times and drivers are superhuman this is the hardest racing game I’ve ever played
Can you confirm that youre able to complete this game? I bought it back in the day. Had 2 copies and both crashed towards the end of the season. Making the game impossible to finish. It also corrupted my save as well if memory serves. That aside its an awesome games. Just a bought another copy today.

For a truck racing game, this one looks pretty good
In my opinion, it's outstanding! Even "18 Wheeler: American Pro Trucker" and the arcade version of "The King of Route 66" are also fantastic!
Man, I miss being a little kid while playing on my PlayStation 2, Original Xbox, and the PSP. This game gave me so many memories of that
Oh.....well remember playing this game when i was 8 years old,(2008)
It's totally sad remembering this.
I have this game, and it's amazing!

Is it to make it fit on a CD instead of a DVD?
@@C.I... Both are CD releases I think
I wish I had this instead of Turbo Trucks.
how to get those graffic
this game was bloody good, would of been better if the made it easer to spin the back wheels up and get a big drift going!
