      Hello Pratikshya, checked the official website of Texas BON, it mentions that "proof of passing scores of English Proficiency exam (if program was not conducted in English)." but on the other side, heard from my friends who mentioned that they didn't even need ielts for Texas BON, so better to clarify it with Texas BON. Besides this you have New Mexico which is near to Texas which don't require ielts/SSN for NCLEX exam.

    Hi Anusha,
    I am a BSc Nursing graduate from India and have a RN license from Nepal Nursing Council (and not from Inidan Board). I have work experience of 10 months in Nepal and currently working in a small hospital. I followed a lot of websites and read that no prior experience is required to appear NCLEX exam. But also read that, after I pass the NCLEX exam, recruiting companies ask for at least two years of clinical experience in a hospital that is occupied with more than 100 beds for processing nursing jobs. Are these criteria mandatory? I need clarification on the level of experience and the capacity of hospitals required to fulfill minimum requirements. Please clarify. Also, inform me if additional/different documents are required for CES as I am a graduate of India but not Nepal.

      I am also planning to reach US within a few months as a dependent. At that time, at most I will gather work experience of about 15 months only. So, I need suggestions regarding what can be the best steps at this stage.

    • @anushaneupane
      @anushaneupane  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@SitaNepal-ju1ho Hi Sita, As you are planning to come in a dependent so 15 months of experience is enough, even if you didn't have any work experience you can work too. But I heard from my friends/nearer ones,,, if you are planning on your own then yes, in that case definitely you need 2 years of experience for recruiting companies. and you are right, to appear in NCLEX exam, you don't have to have work experience.

    • @SitaNepal-ju1ho
      @SitaNepal-ju1ho ปีที่แล้ว

      @@anushaneupane Hi Anusha, Thank you so much for your response. I am planning to gather 15 months of clinical experience in 50 bedded hospital in Nepal and within that time I might complete NCLEX and will be working. But I am also planning to go to US after NCLEX completion and 15 months of experience and process job from hiring agencies in the US. Now my question is, will there be any problem in this case? What could be the probability that the hiring agencies will accept and forward my application to the hospitals? Sorry, I clear did not understand what you meant by " if you are planning on your own then yes, in that case definitely you need 2 years of experience for recruiting companies". I am planning to go through agencies after I reach US. Will there be any problem if I have clinical experience from 50 bedded hospital only? I heard from my friends that one needs at least 2 years of experience from at least 100 bedded hospitals. I do not know how much truth it is. Thanks in advance.

    • @anushaneupane
      @anushaneupane  ปีที่แล้ว

       If you are trying to come on your own (I mean without any dependent visa) through agency so yes, in that case you definitely need 2 years of working experience but if you are married and your spouse already resides in US in that case it really doesn't matter about your work experience. I don't have information about the criteria of how many bedded hospital they require. And I don't want to give false information. Let me know if you get validated information regarding this. If you are processing through agency, in that case they better knows the criteria.

      Yes, 100%, PCL can do and many of them have done NCLEX and are working as US RN. The only difference is Bsc/BN nurse has title of "RN BSN" in their name while on the other hand PCL will have "RN" as a title here in US.
