Ya bro! Mines has the fan issue and also I need to change the temperature sensor which hasn’t been done yet lol. Just picked an FB and that’s another checklist of things I need to do to restore both of them lol moneypit smh haha
@@Firm400 sickkk I just did that temp sensor. On the 1.6 I just had to take off my coil pack and it was just right there. Took a minute to get off because I could only turn the wrench like this much 🤏 lol I’m subbed so I can’t wait to see the projects to come
I just picked up a Miata and did the same thing. I noticed the driver (left) fan wouldn't turn on while being directly connected to the battery. But the passenger side worked when the ac was on and when I directly hooked it to a battery. So I'm buying a whole new radiator and fan combo.
Check your temperature sensor. Located by the coil pack. Also could be your fans. Perform a direct voltage test on your cooling fans. One more check would be your CAS O-Ring may need to be change as that is a common problem with Miatas. Hope that helps!
Dude good looking on the video. Ive been dealing with over heating issues ever since I tried to bring my Miata back from the grave

StormGarage appreciate the love! Itchin to work on her this weekend!
Firm400 Heck yeah good to hear man!!!
Temp sensor will just show you your temp on the gauge. The on on the thermostat is what turns the fans on and off.
NB1s (1999-2000) do not have a temp sensor on the thermostat.
