Lajon Witherspoon is a very underrated vocalist, & this band throws a great live show
ive wanted to see Sevendust live so bad and i keep having to miss them, definitely a band that is high on my list to see still
Their show is better than recordings. That's unheard of....

I live in an area that Sevendust used to tour frequently. They have a really good set of hits and I hear that their live shows are fire.

Having seen sevendust by pure happenstance the first time and intentionally several times, it’s even better in person. Dudes voice is immensely underrated, he’s an excellent vocalist
My favorite Sevendust songs are Praise and Angel's Son- but there are many bangers. Solid band.
Yep, they're both underrated and appropriately rated at the same time.
Came just to say this, Praise is one of those hard rock songs you can still understand so I think he'll love that... Angel's Son is just a must because of how much emotion it can evoke.
Absolutely love this! My all time favorite band. Have seen them every single time they come to town. Would love to see you explore more of their discography, others have mentioned their other most popular songs for a listen.
Btw they are out on tour right now. Check their schedule. They come to our town this fall if you’re interested in seeing them live. As others have mentioned an absolutely amazing and dynamic band every single show. It is definitely worth the experience.

Sevendust has been doing it since the mid 1990s and they are amazing live and have a huge catalogue of music. Have always been underrated in my opinion, I hope you check out more from them, they truly are great and out of the ATL as well too 🤘🏻🔥
Seen these guys over 30 times, I have met them on multiple occasions and every time LJ recognizes you he calls you family. These these guys are always appreciative of their fanbase, you always feel like you are unified with them.

thanks for checking out this band. This song is on point! 7D has been around a good amount of time...almost 30 years now; with 18 albums. If you go back 1 album you can check out their Grammy nominated song "Thank You". One of my personal favorites is a song called "Decay".
This is where I find your interpretation of this song interesting. I dont agree that it is a protest song. Yes, there are overtones of "war". But, one of the main motifs the singer writes on is "relationships", and are quite present in the other 2 songs I suggested; along with many others. You hit the nail on the head about, "do we have to do this anymore? Its pointless. can we look for another reason to solve issues?" I believe the issues he brings up are the struggles of choices people make in their lives, not oil.
i like that you cover all kinds of music. sevendust was big during the nu metal era and have continued to make a place in alternative metal. their most successful hits were "Angel's son", "bitch", "waffle" and "black" all great songs and yes as a fan i am biased. lol
I've seen them live a few times, and they have to be the loudest band I've ever seen lol. Been one of my favs since I was in high school in the 2000s. I'd check out Denial, Waffle for classics, Xmas Day and Angel's Son for their softer side.

Enemy was also another big song. Their entire 2010 album which brought the guitarist back who was with them on the first 4 albums was fantastic also. Singles are, “Here and Now”, “Forever” and “Unraveling”.

I love the entire Alpha album, but song callouts from their discography would be Corrected, Shine (my favorite), Enemy, Denial, Praise, Black from their 97 album, Damaged.
