Coming from a 7plus to an XS Max, it was Face ID that impressed me the most. Quite simply awesome 😎

Since i have the 7 plus, i have to stop myself from being mesmerized by how shiny they look, if i have a big screen phone, there is no legitimate reason to spend more than a thousand dollars to buy another one.

The reason you are seeing "gold" videos is because Apple's PR department specifically sent out that color model to youtubers so that they may make videos for them #UFUKU

Enjoyed the unboxing and overview. I bought a silver Xs Max as well. While I agree that upgrading from last year’s X isn’t worthwhile, I’m coming from an iPhone 6 Plus and am enjoying the speed and upgrades. I wanted to upgrade to a plus sized phone and my decision was between the Max and the 8 plus. In the end, I splurged and got the Max and plan on keeping it for a while. Transition away from Touch ID to Face ID was surprisingly easy and painless.
Lovely phones. The quality of iphones is simply unmatched.

Dude. Samsung S9 blows this phone out of the water. But i would never buy an Android. Of course i am an iPhone guy. But technicAlly the Samsung phone are better

Aaron, I know you did a charging practices video awhile back. Maybe you can redo that video, or if most of the same things apply, repost it. My iPhone X, which was about 10 months old, had 90% battery health. So a refresher on good charging practices would be welcome. 👍🏻

Please test the data speeds . People are reporting 2 to 2.5 x faster data speeds vs the X. This a huge change and something to get excited about :)
Nice unboxing Aaron! I'm don't really want to buy a new iPhone but it complements the series 4 really well and series 4 is really compelling. I held off from buying an Apple Watch before because I insisted (even at an Apple Store) that the displays were too small. The new watch however seems to be the "Steve Jobs" quality I am looking forward to.

I just paid off my Verizon’s iPhone 7+, now my phone bill is 88 dollars. , essentially I really want to wait till next year mainly because this years devices aren’t any different from last year . Just one bigger and f/ changeable thing . But my current seven is broken with a cracked screen and also my ear and left speakers do not work.

I’m still rocking my 7+ and I don’t plan to upgrade yet. I’m a 1$ per day device kind of guy. When my 7+ is done I will buy something new. I pay around 1100$ in Canadian $ 2 years ago so I’m gonna keep my 7+ for 3 years and move on. The XS Max is my kind of size

Yes, the displays are made by two different manufacturers. You would never notice if you didn’t have them side-by-side

1:32 The iPhone XS has an antenna line at the bottom of the phone on the left side of the lighting port vs the iPhone X has speakers.
You should definitely get a fast charging set-up for that money.

I’m switching from the iPhone 7 to the Xs. The 7 is a good size for me I don’t really like the plus versions since they feel too big for my hands so I’m just going to get regular Xs.

Hey Aaron, I have a X and am wondering if upgrading will be worth it or not. I love my X and am happy with the size. I’m on the plan with Verizon where I can upgrade yearly to the newest model and I’m just not sure if it’s worth it. I do enjoy having the “latest & greatest” of phones. Opinions? It appears that X cases will fit the new phone.

For some reason there aren't really any videos on TH-cam comparing the x to the Xs. Is the performance really that negligible and is that one of the reasons apple stopped selling the X. Please do an in-depth comparison of the X and Xs including the cameras.
The new phones are only 14% faster in most results. Honestly there is no reason to upgrade if you have an iPhone X to a Xs

You don’t need to hold to turn it on, just click the side button
Sometimes they don’t turn on if you don’t hold them even though it’s just a press normally. So I hold it anyway to make sure he turns on
Cool, but I don’t like the wallpapers really. They look quite naff and ugly. The wallpapers from a few years ago were much nicer.

As always this was a great unboxing video. I have an iPhone 8 Plus and I think that I will not upgrade to XS Max. For example, I miss the landscape mode for apps when it is in horizontal mode. Also is impossible to unlock it in landscape mode by Face ID. Apple will work on future iPad to Face ID work in horizontal position. I hope that they can apply this possibility in 2019 iPhones

As someone who has had an iPhones X in "space Grey" the past, why is it you've gone for a silver iPhone XS Max?, I only ask as I'm having trouble deciding which colour to get, I've usually gone for silver in the past, but I'm considering the space grey for my new iPhone XS Max, is it because the silver looks better on the bigger phone. Would like to know your reason for the change in colour.

if it was the max you noticed then it may be what he touched on briefly. I think samsung make the xs and lg the max. lg made the display for the pixel 2 xl so might explain it. for me samsung make the best screens hands down.
@@Djchrisj44 I'd have to agree with you. Typically Samsung displays are better and my pixel 2xl does have the blue tint but it's not a deal breaker for me. It may not be as nice as some other displays but the performance and amazing pictures I've taken make up for it. It's looking like the pixel 3xl will have a way better display this year thanks to Apple and Google investing in LG to make better displays. Old Sammy had that market cornered for a while lol

I'm on a s8 plus still from last year and due my upgrade now I'm just seeing whats about.used to love iphone and do miss ios for its performance so had to see what there new ones where aboit. habe to say the notch actually suits the phone and its design so again apple do deliver always in that department.the decision for me now I do jump back to iOS or wait for the s10

I almost traded in my almost brand new iphone X. Apple offered me $525.00 trade in. In my heart I said no but I really wanted it because I love Apple and I change my phone every year. This year I decided not to upgrade my phone because there is nothing that is that substantial. I bought the watch though. I have the Note 9 too and I am happy with it altogether but still my heart is owned by Apple! Is it me or what is it then?

thx for the videos aaron... i just unboxed my iPhone xs and am startled at how dark the white background screen appears vs my iPhone 7... i haven't set the phone up yet but the white background screen looks really dim... are you noticing this as well?
