Danny Trejo is a very good person. He visits substance abuse treatment centers to speak about the tribulations of his life. I should know. I was in one of these centers and he was a guest speaker to appear later on in the year. Absolutely stand up guy. God bless.
Trejo is one of those good examples of what can go right if convicts decide to do the right things. He's also a good example of someone who became a Hollywood star but kept feet on the ground like a real person. I notice his son comes across like a really good young dude, like a normal human being. Not some weird or arrogant Hollywood prick kid. So that is really the greatest testimony Trejo has lived out a good life the right way.
My favorite Danny Trejo story was when he was in the news for jumping in when a vehicle overturned, with grandmother and grandchild inside, I believe near his home. He and a young lady managed to get the child out but the grandmother was stuck inside and had to be rescued by local firefighters.
