First Ever DVC Welcome Home Weeks Frozen Themed Character Close-up!

Rider and I attended the first ever DVC Welcome Home Character Close-up at Disney's Contemportary Resort on Monday, July 22nd. Information below.
This was a fun event, but it was short and sweet and the character interactions were amazing. Special shout-out to Kristoff who tolerated Rider's Griddy dancing. I only wish they had photopass photographers at these events, but I still think it's worth the trip if you have some time. I would suggest tagging it on a day you are going to Chef Mickey's or at the Magic Kingdom. Parking is not available (and they were being strict!) Information about the event is below.

The first-ever Welcome Home Weeks-a limited-time celebration is happening from July 22 through August 24 featuring special events, tasty treats and exciting experiences just for eligible Disney Vacation Club Members.

Meet beloved Disney Characters at fun events at Walt Disney World Resort, the Disneyland Resort and our beach Resorts!
Walt Disney World Resort
Delight in an immersive Character meet & greet experience, themed to the story from the fan-favorite film, Frozen.
Location: Disney’s Contemporary Resort (Ballroom Fantasia J)
Dates: July 22, July 23, July 29, July 30, August 12 and August 13, 2024
Times: 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM
Parking: There is no Resort parking for this event. Members are strongly encouraged to use Walt Disney World Resort transportation.
Eligibility: Members eligible for Membership Extras with a Walt Disney World Resort hotel reservation, plus 4 Guests (or the number of additional Guests on the reservation)
A valid Disney Vacation Club Digital Membership Card and photo ID are required at event check-in. The Member listed on the Digital Membership Card must be in attendance.
