‘Don’t wait this long to call me again’ is so true as a housekeeper. With more expensive furniture/home finishings, the accumulated dust and moisture over time can actually damage the finish or stain things (especially light colored things). That’s why a light cleaning more often is typically better than a more infrequent deep cleaning. Not to mention a deep clean requires more intense methods that can add to wear and tear on the surface.
