This is episode 13. Original airdate was May 11, 2001. Wikipedia Summary: The Lone Gunmen try to solve the murders of two FBI agents who were working undercover on Langly's favorite TV series. This is the last aired episode and the show was cancelled. The storyline of the series did have a final episode regarding the super soldiers that was included on the X Files and was titled "Jump the Shark" which was aired on April 21, 2002. The Wikipedia Summary says, "When Morris Fletcher approaches FBI agents Dana Scully, John Doggett, and Monica Reyes with information related to the super soldiers, they turn to the Lone Gunmen. But the Gunmen and Jimmy Bond are already knee-deep in a bio-terrorist's plot to release a deadly toxin, and his links to the mysterious Yves Adele Harlow." I could not find it on TH-cam but you can see it if you have Amazon Prime. It is in season 9, episode 15 and is episode 197 if that series.

That device was not smart to use against an armed person in the parking garage at the beginning. He had plenty of time / energy to pull the trigger before falling over.
Cool show but it was way limited in budget. Had it been given a tad more leeway and a smidge more $$$ on writing and sets it could had bloomed into 2-5 seasons. Sadly the series was compromised from the start.

It was ahead of its time. Now we've had police-type shows where the focus is comedy and they have done well. Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Angie Tribeca, even Monk which came out soon after this.
Not to rain on anyone's parade, but I've disliked very few shows more than this one. And Langley would be my nomination for worst character in a single-camera show.

It was actually shown on the UK Sci-Fi Channel at the time but without the first episode airing.
