Time has always been the biggest issue with Competitive Clash. this is why I think the Offensive equipment for heroes (Quake boots, Rage Gem, Giant Arrow) are going to be the best ones for the pro players. Quake Boots is easily the most slept equipment so far even though Shaving off 50% HP of the town hall and many other buildings should Theoretically be very strong. Giant Arrow needs to be on par to destroy 2 Air defenses on use for it to be viable for Air attacks (Which is it's only good and intentional use), although Air is being slept on somewhat thanks to Root riders.
Rage Gem is slept on too but it's mostly because people have it underleveled and once people max it, they will realize just how strong it truly is in comparison to the Life Gem. Healing Tome is not bad for Hybrid/Hogs, but those attacks almost always fail due to time already.
The issue is not that time is running out. Whenever a war ties, the fastest 3 star wins. Everyone is hitting 3 stars so the point is that the 3 star time is important. Not time running out

Eric did you know the gautlet ability is bugged sometimes instead of takes 20% less damage you take no damage idk why but it is like a warden ability

Itzu explained it happens when you catch king in warden ability and king will get immunity with his ability.

I hate it, I just watched this finals and I am not watching any pro wars. I miss those days when pros had to work hard to get triples, at this point they are literally using Barch to triple lol. I hope supercell bring a huge buff after holidays. Like Rage Tower back to 6 tiles 100% boost. the wars will reach their glory once again

Itzu’s said it will be available for some gems after the event finishes. Not sure how many. But glad that it will be available at least, otherwise would have been a step in the P2W direction.

Hey Eric, its always nice to hear your opinions on the state of the game. I understand that the meta has shifted entirely over to attack favored, and the general community consensus appears to be that attacking is much easier, but I like to remember just how difficult TH15 really was and how drastically it changed the state of the game, so it was a really nice reminder that you mentioned you expect things to change by the next update, and how we can just enjoy the meta as it is right now while expecting it to shift or balance out in the future.

@@DonPhamadioI think pairing it with the battle drill also makes it even stronger, I’ve been seeing the battle drill together with the champion get so much value at times. But sometimes when the drill goes under and the lassi isn’t in front or still alive the champion will take a lot more damage unless you have an invis to put aggro on drill or other stuff. But with the fox it’ll be like putting multiple invis on it, at that point it’s way better than the diggy and the drill also stuns the defenses.

Troops need to attack what’s in front of them . Tried of seeing all of my troops walking outside the base . Tried of seeing troops not attacking the monolith and artillery. Tried of seeing troops walk by the th. This shit is crazy. Opponents just swipe the screen and release drags and loons . Take out 80 to 100 % of my base . Bout to quit. Can’t keep a team and we don’t talk strategy anymore. Shit dumb right now.

i think lots of people said th15 was not fun so...yeah having a defensive meta is fine but not all the time. It makes the game quite boring. Its the same op base and the same armies that can defend them. At least now we can get some variety and have base builders make wacky bases
The game isn't designed for esports, most games don't succeed when they try to engineer themselves for that crowd, instead, they naturally succeed in that area if the game is good.
Most people can't 3 15s consistently, even the pros barely have over 50%.
@georgehunda649 the game was very much successful and had many active players(prolly more than th13, th14, th16)as every th which was the highest lvl in the game was hard till th12 and a 3 star actually felt rewarding. 2 star high pc was considered decent and felt like a 3 star. Th13 and 14 ruined the game and mentality of players that are expecting 3 star on every base and that too with spam attacks. 3 stars shouldn't be the norm and even a 30pc HR should be considered decent.
@@mightyblaze9911 yea, the game is popular, but the esports not really. That's why there were like 30 people at the finals lmao. Not dunking on them, I enjoy watching the pros, but it's barely mainstream in the community. People just wanna have fun, and a brutally punishing experience isn't fun for everyone, and i parse in wow so I get the hyper competitive mentality.

@@quintit tbh as a th 16 myself I hate it, I haven't been able to realise why such a huge nerf was necessary. meta was stable by end of th 15.... The reason why wars are boring these days is because of this only. See this war, stefan would have surely tripled it had it not been time issue. Not to mention th 15 looks way better, the colors and everything was perfect, th 16 is bland red and dark red shades all over. X bows imo looks worst, th 15 will forever be the best th with the best meta imo
Skip this boring town hall, give NAVI the championship title (looking at history, they win when town hall is easy) and move to th17
New defence level will introduced looking at history kg th 15 we might get new levels for all main defences and some nerfs and it might be difficult than th 14 but easier than th 15

Comment is true for the pros. But for casuals it’s nice to actually triple. Once defenses catch up th16 is going to be a nice sweet spot for them.
