THE IFK HELD THE EUROPEAN TOURNAMENT
among children, youths and juniors, men and women in weight categories on 7-8 April, in Yerevan, Armenia, at “MIKA” sports complex. The organisers and hosts were The Ministry of Sport and Youth Affairs of the Republic of Armenia, and Armenian Kyokushin Karate Federation.

Very much like Taekwondo, Kyokushin karate needs to reinvent itself. In the very same way, it is narrowing the attitude/techniques span.

They look like two kids fighting in the school yard. This supposed to be KARATE !!!!! Not some lousy fight that had almost nothing to do with karate.
Some years ago we could see some real skill and great competitions. I'm sure these two are not the wimps but the rules have changed and whole idea of real competition have been lost. If the safety is a concern then maybe wearing protective gear would be the answer.

Besides there are like hundreds of moves that are prevented in tournaments because they can cause brain damage or break bones easily

Im Vergleich zum Boxen wenig interessant. Auch die Wirksamkeit in der Realität darf bezweifelt werden, keine Schläge mit der Hand zum Kopf, einfach unrealistisch und in Notsituationen sicher nicht hilfreich.
