We wanted to reach out from one dancer to another.
We know right now the tendency for so many tango dancers is to pull back.
We’re all faced with social distancing rule, together with many unknowns.
Don’t worry, we are not here to load you up with more challenges.
Instead, we wanted to reach out and to encourage you to keep going.
There’s never been a better opportunity for tango dancers.
See, when we are taken by the whirlwind of our normal tango lives, we get so excited about the connection and the embrace…
… that it’s hard to find some motivation to work on our own technique.
    We’ve been there 
But there’s truly an opportunity for a dancer:
-You can practice at home to work on your own balance, posture, and dissociation… key skills that are so necessary for a dancer, and so very much the reason why your movements work or don’t work…
-You can take the time to break down cool movements you love on videos so you understand how they are lead and followed.
-You can listen to music to develop your musicality
This week, we’d like to invite you to work on vals with us.
We’re laying out a veeeeery cool tango vals movement that is as useful for social dancing as it is funu!
Click on the video to watch it.

Thank you very much. This will certainly be part of our repertoire starting tomorrow. This can be used not only for waltz rhythm.

Beautiful move. Will definitely practice and add to my vocabulary. I struggle stitching too many together. I find it really throws my spacial awareness and orientation to line of dance

Thank's a lot for this nice instruction video. It looks like the leader have to make the follower freez for a while while he is going around and then the oposit appere. Givs a very dynamic apperace.
I suppose it would be applicable in both cross as linair system and in clockwise and anticlockwise as well?.
PS I have been following I aprechate you instruction videos. The are clear with technics for both the leader as well as the follower in very pedagogic presentation. Då
Best regards Magnus Olsson from Sweden

I enjoyed & practiced this. It felt like the easiest Cadena I have ever tried. Will try using a homemade prop to keep good movement around the axis.
