My favourite part of this video is the editing choice I made, early last week, to not include most of phase 1 Nameless King because "ah, no one's too excited about that in 2024"... Hope you enjoy the vid!
When it comes to elden ring/souls build and guide videos nobody does it better than you my friend. You bring home bacon for sure my dude. Proud of you. Thank you and merry Christmas my friend.
Just got back to finishing dark souls 3 dlc. This video came up on my feed. Liked, subscribed and doing the ketos hammer build! Wish i knew about your channel when i was playing elden ring
I'd love to see the true executioners greataxe. One of my personal favourite weapons, the dragonslayer greataxe. The moment I saw that weapon, i knew I had to have it. 😁
Great vid as always. Your vids are always top shelf. Funny cuz I was just thinking about doing a Ledo’s early run a few days ago… However, the skeleton key into “Ringed City early” is always Sellsword Twinblades +7. You can respec when you get back and you only have to be around level 35. The Winblades are so ridiculous they don’t need to be leveled up all the way. They will easily wipe out Friede & Demon Prince and it allows you to save all of those other bosses for the weapon you’re actually focusing on for the run. You really only have to defeat Vordt, Crystal Sage, Friede & Demon Prince to get to Ringed City… Just seems worthwhile saving Dancer, Oceiros & Champ Gundyr for when you have Ledo’s Hammer. When I’m doing a run focusing on a specific weapon I want to kill as many bosses as possible with my chosen run weapon and as few as possible with my build set up weapon.
Two days ago, I beat Nameless King first try with your Yhorm build. I'm still on my first ever playthrough. You made me run over this game, and I had so much fun, even tho you weren't very nice about the mimics 😂. I'm currently in Ringed City, getting destroyed by the ghost archers. Having a great time
Love this. Super pleased you're enjoying the build and the game. GG on Nameless, that'll come in handy for Nightreign. Ringed City is the best bit, so enjoy! Thanks for watching. P.S. Sorry about the mimics. Imagine how boring it would be if I just told people about them!
@@ThingfishyGaming just beaten the game today. I found Gael to be a bit harder than Midir. And killed Soul of Cinder on first try. Now I want to start over. I'll try one of your new build guides. The Yhorm one was very helpful as a beginner. I'm so glad I bought this game, almost at the same time you returned to ds3 (it wasn't on purpose btw, just pure luck stat). Love your content ❤
As an actual old child who is still stuck on dancer from the first installment of playing ds3 again, I'm completely up for binning that attempt and trying this one. Probably terribly. All of my dreadful play throughs never take away how much i enjoy watching yours. Top stuff, as always.
I did a heavy armored caestus build recently- it was surprisingly powerful. The perseverance WA is way stronger than you think, I was able to out-tank Havel atop Archdragon peak lol
Funnily enough I’m watching this after picking this as my next weapon to give a go. I’m taking it into NG+2 though. I need the rings for the platinum. Also I always do SoC last even if it makes him feel kinda squishy sometimes after the bloated DLC Health and Defense. He’s just a much better final boss for the game imo. Way cooler and stuff thematically and gameplay wise.
Yeesssss! I was so disappointed when your str build guide didn't mention this beauty of a weapon, only to find an entire video dedicated to it! Do you like "physical" magic weapons like heysel pick or the aquamarine dagger??
Haha, it was actually the first one I recorded. After the original was lost due to PC issues I did the Ringed Knight's run for a bit of a change. Wanted to come back to this one though as its one of my favourites. Honestly, I really can't remember doing any INT builds other than pure mage or MLGS in DS3. Will have to give them a try at some point. Thanks for watching!
@@ThingfishyGamingI love it! funny how it's not only showcasing how broken Ledos Greathammer is, but also shows how ridiculous Vordts Greathammer can be. 500 damage a R1 on Friede is really impressive
While I enjoyed this weapon, Vordt's Greathammer will always be TOP1 weapon for me. Just for the discovery of "weakness rules" in DS3 and Frostbite, which deserves a praise for being a good Status Effect.
my friend and i are doing a challenge build run. if you want, can you help me make a bad build for my friend? LOL... not like insanely hard, but like 6-8/10 on the difficulty rating.
Honestly, unlike Elden Ring, I'd put most weapons in the game in the 6-8 bracket. My recommendation for wholesome trolling would be something like FUGS or Smough's. Not the best damage and diificult to use if if you're not used to slower builds. But by the end of the game you're having so much fun you don't care. Might be an issue getting requirements for them early though. What sort of run are you doing?
@@ThingfishyGamingjust did FUGS myself and couldn’t use it until about mid game due to strength requirements. Though if you just leveled only strength unlike me you could probably get there sooner.
Daggers only is surprisingly good for this. Because the base damage is so low but the attack speed so fast, you can come up with some fun workarounds. You won’t demolish everything, but it’s very doable.
You should do a run with a very special halberd in dark souls 3 that does dark damage you can find it in slave night gales boss area when you first enter
I just ran Demon’s fist on NG+ and it was pretty strong outside the DLC but that was on a strength build. It could probably be decently strong as the weapon for a Pyromancer though as you can use buffs and you’ll have spells to help out.
It seems fun. Used it to beat NG+ Gael after he proved too much for the Demon’s Fists. Gonna take it into NG+2 once I finish collecting itens from this cycle.
My original plan for the DS3 series was STR-Dex-Int-Faith-Luck… Then I wrote out a giant list of strength builds I wanted to do 🤣. Next one is Dex, I promise!
Level 60 and Friede defeated doesn't really mean early and having the DLC boss beaten means you are already a big badass at the game and don't need the hammer, except maybe for PVP.
I didn't like it much first run tbh. It doesn't have the metroidvania like world design we all hoped for would make a return and has to many swamps. Grey is overused as a color. When I was forced to play it multiple times low level in order to create a twink (the details how players could find each other were still a mystery to the pvp community back in spring 2016) I fell in love with it eventually. It also had to do with some things which were balanced out later. For example I was summoned out of the Dancer fight. She was almost dead... And patch 1.3 added micro stuttering which could lead to crashes. PvP was plagued by one shot builds and gank squads. Sometimes you died and didn't even know what hit you.
they aren't very good. If you use the Dark Hand to cheese her you already have a better weapon than these blades. And then there is the castle and graves with tons of better stuff.
Definitely. I actually lost a LoP vid I’d been working on for a while to computer issues in November. Very much planning on returning to it in the build up to the DLC launch. Thanks for watching!

Been really enjoying these DS3 videos! I’ve got 2 bosses left on my strength build and I reckon I’ll use this Hammer for them. Crag blade FTW!!!!

Three in a row?! I’m loving these Dark Souls 3 videos; thank you as always for your hard work and brilliant entertainment!
Glad you like them! More to come as I’m having great fun making them. Thanks for watching, as always, Garret!

Dark Souls 3, good old memories
Damn seems like yesterday you was at 5k subs, happy to see you grow
It's been mental to see it grow! Thanks for being here along the way, Jester.
"For Phase 2, Get hit by every fucking attack" I know the feeling. 😄
It's a solid strat, been using it for years! Thanks for watching, Zelda!
Same. Especially on Lorian. For some reason that boss just never clicks for me.

I love your vids man, but 3 out of 3 of your DS3 build guides are strength builds. I'd love to see faith, int, dex or whatever :D
Ledos, the Gyrm greathammer in ds2 and now the anvil hammer in Elden ring. There are hammers made from the stuff to make hammers. WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I’m loving the ds3 videos, keep it up!
Another fantastic showcase. Your comedy always puts a smile on my face whenever I watch these videos. Moments like 17:55 just send me 🤣

I’ve never used many. I’ve heard people say they’re not bad. Indeed curious what someone more experienced has to say though.

Ahh my subscription ended today. Glad I get to keep my loyalty badge 😂
Another banger fishy, makes me wanna stop playing RE2R and jump back into DS3 😅
If you can beat Friede early, you probably don't need an early max hammer. Also the reason one might want a max hammer is for fights like Friede.
I love your videos , I hope you can do ds2 eventually! I also hope that the “elden ring” can bring some more views to this channel when it comes out 🙏
banger once again ❤

Ds3 is so still alive.
Love this damn weapon 🖤
Edit: both these damn weapons!
Would like to request a pyromancy build with Demon's Fist. The weapon mainly scales with strength so it's a tough stat spread early game.
I just ran Demon’s fist on NG+ and it was pretty strong outside the DLC but that was on a strength build. It could probably be decently strong as the weapon for a Pyromancer though as you can use buffs and you’ll have spells to help out.
Hey fishy, any plans to update your legendary RL1 guide for the dlc? i'd love to know!
I used Ledo's greathammer for a run a few months ago and also beat ng+ with it and it is such a busted weapon
It seems fun. Used it to beat NG+ Gael after he proved too much for the Demon’s Fists.
Gonna take it into NG+2 once I finish collecting itens from this cycle.
@thing what character are you going to pick in night reign?
Assuming it is a starting class, almost certainly the Sekiro style character you see deflecting the Omen.

No, haven’t done any DeS vids yet. Hoping we might get a surprise PC port at some point as a good excuse to revisit it.
