I used to live in Amersham, and later Chesham as a child. I remember some of those routes so well - I often went to High Wycombe with my mum on the 362, and trainspotting at Berkhamsted on the 353. The RTs, RMs, RFs, RLHs and GSs were prevalent in those days, and were all wonderful vehicles. I now live in France, and miss them all.

Many, many, many years ago now I worked on SNB 448 and 449 Good to see them still running around. Also nice to see Amersham and Chesham again.
All the best from Sunny Thailand.

That's great to hear, I own SNB448 and its very recently had a total rebuild so was really glad it performed so well on the day. I imagine that brings back some memories !

Hello there my name is James and yes I used to work on SN448. When I started at London Country as an electrician I covered all the garages in the North West of LC before privatisation. I ended up at Amersham garage. I loved my job and the people I worked with, they were all characters. I've been looking at some pictures of 488 and she looked in a bad way after her time at Chase. All I can say is that you've done a fantastic job on restoring her. I don't know why she's a her but I should apologise in case I've offended someone reading this. Is the bus based locally in the Amersham area? I wonder if you know any of the old staff from MA 1980's I have about 1000 stories I could tell about working on the buses. Most of them all good fun. At MA the Craftsmen would put a bottle of wine in the stream at the back of the garage in the morning. Nicely chilled for lunch. (Summer time only) And then there's the time the roof caught fire. But that's another story.
Good luck and keep up the good work.
All the best from wet Thailand
