The first one is like the main theme that I think about when I see these two. It totally captivated the final scene of ep 1, it was so precious that I knew this would be a 10/10 anime for me
The backgrounds are the best I've seen in any fantasy show ever. Not one of the best, but actually the best, at least in my opinion. Every plant, tree, and even the rocks felt like they all had a story and history behind them. Obviously, in reality they were just quickly drawn in a couple hours before the artists moved on to the next background, but they're so unique it makes you feel like this world has a life beyond what's shown on the screen. That in the cuts between scenes or in spaces you never see there's still something there.
42:05 After all this time, I still find myself in awe and sheer bliss with this track As it's the theme of the Golem and Somali (translated, it's roughly "Bond Between Two people") it always hits deep in the feels, extremely tragic how there's no upload of the track itself It's just perfect.
This anime shows us pure love between dad n his daughter (foster), those relationship is way better than marrying it in the end like other but this is gold
If the creator hadn't gotten so many raw deals and bad treatment, including her poor health, we would most likely have had a season 2 by now since in a post the creator herself said that she did want to make a season 2 but lacked the staff and funds to make it happen. Even though the first season ended in a way that can be easily looked upon as a conclusion, I would have for sure loved to have a season 2. And yeah, the ending was so powerful, not only were by eyes watering but my nose was also inhaling those onion fumes. I have watched this Anime a total of 3 times from start to finish, and I have concluded that it is impossible not to be powerfully effected by it, and if anyone thinks that I will not be watching this again, then, well, think again😇
@@jordanphilipperris it's really infuriating that her publishers, instead of supporting her when she had health issues, decided to just flip her off and cancel her amazing manga. I can't really see the final episode of the anime as an ending, I wanted to find out Somali's past, what happened to her parents, are they even alive, will papa golem die, all of these are stuff I wanna know about, not to mention the relaxing vibe of the show which actually hides a pretty cruel world, for humans at least, I seriously loved the world building in this story, along with the designs of the world itself. Goddammit man everytime I think about how great this story was I just feel really angry and sad, meanwhile we're getting hundreds if not thousands of new harem and isekai stories, like why the fuck does rent a girlfriend have 3 SEASONS, we also got an isekai about a fucking VENDING MACHINE, it's honestly frustrating to think about, feels like creativity isn't even looked at nowadays, just whatever is gonna bring in the most money, I miss this show so much and I know for a fact I won't ever forget it. Another show that was sadly also forgotten is land of the lustrous, but at least it has a full Manga, I don't know if it's already finished or not though
@@jordanphilipperris honestly I feel like if manga like one piece or HXH were released nowadays they would be canceled in less than a year because of their somewhat slow start, most people agree one piece started picking up at Arabasta, it was good before, but if it was today, it might not have been enough, and HXH was really fun to me from the start but, just like one piece, it might not be enough for it to survive if it released today, just my thoughts, I might be wrong
@@kaizisplayin_YTI absolutely love stories about parent and child relationships, if you liked that aspect then you might want to watch Maquia: When the Promised Flower Blooms, it's an anime movie about an immortal girl (just that she never grows old, she can still be killed though) adopting a normal human baby, it's so good, I still listen to its soundtrack nowadays, you should really watch it, it unfortunately didn't have good marketing which lead to most people not knowing about it, it also released the same year as I want to eat your pancreas (which is a very good movie, although I prefer Maquia a lot more) which overshadowed Maquia in popularity
