Fieldsports Britain - Andy Crow's Bubble on the Stubble
ฝัง
- เผยแพร่เมื่อ 14 ต.ค. 2024
- With crops cut and pigeons still piling in to neighbouring standing wheat, Andy Crow calls in help. He sets up for a big day's shooting with bubbles/hides dotted everywhere and willing helpers in pace with slabs of cartridges. We take a close look at those cartridges with the results of our survey. Find out which are the most popular cartridges from our super lockdown Fieldtester survey, answers by 3,500 of you. We are in Scotland to look at how the Scottish Government's forestry service is cutting down trees during the nesting season. And Captain Copper, Andrew Venables, review what he reckons is the best bullet for foxes: the Barnes Varmint Grenade. Charlie rounds up the best hunting videos in this week's Hunting TH-cam, and David is on the News Stump, all in this week's #FieldsportsBritain

That comment from Reagan in the hide was a beauty😂
Excellent show tonight. Ben;s report was an eye opener. How many turbines are there in Scotland? Being generous, do we allow a head count of 300 per turbine? That's a lot of birds killed by the SNP's devotion to wind power. Also, I was amazed that there was only 1 bird nest, which luckily was abandoned, in such large acreage of standing timber. Incredible and so coincidentally fortuitous.
Looking forward to David rocking up with a topknot next week. David's flowing kelp bed of a thatch was a joy for all us baldies to admire.
OMG David. Simply fabulous. Slow mo action. :)
Hey Charlie. Someone told me my video was in hunting Yt. Funny to see, because I didn’t send it in. Becoming famous after all! 😂 great show as usual. Going to England next week. 4 days pigeons! Excited after seeing Andy doing his thing! Cheers!
Thanks - I watch your videos for fun as well as for my job 🙂 - / Charlie
Fieldsports Channel you got a great job 😉
Loving David's skit at the end of the News Stump these days!
Have I totally missed the point of the timber felling section?
I should imagine most of us wat2the show understand that spruce plantations are absolute desert monocultures for wildlife, benefiting a fraction of the number of species that for example a growing mixed woodland, moorland, or meadow suports.
Was the point of the piece to highlight that FLS are naughty too sometimes? I just came away feeling that actually a wood like that being dropped is a good thing for us in many ways, especially if a scot gov org did it and broke a rule or two in the process.
And for the sake of argument and not walking right into a gaping pit trap here, remember that a lot of grouse moors have benefited immensely from wind farms in Scotland,... 😳
No pouncing please, im a full time keeper on a mixed sporting estate in Central Scotland, speaking from experience, not just spouting.
Still a great show guys.
All the best.
Josh
Another great show Thank you
Great show as ever. Please can we have more of David 's comedy's skits
Excelentes cazas de torcazas amigos eres muy bueno para cazar 🇪🇨
Larch plantation near me, owned by Oxford university was felled a few years ago, they took down a Buzzard nest with young in. When confronted the contractor lied, like they all do. Dare say people who should of made sure things like this don't happen are paid enough to look the other way.
How have those loggers got away with what they have been doing, is it a matter money before wild life, love David's lock down locks,👧, at first I thought he had a very hairy chest, nop microphone well done team, 👍👌.
Great to watch...but can you lower the volume of the background music please?
5.09 that comment was brilliant!! Poor andy having a break from been nagged by Mrs Crow and Crow junior takes her place!! That flapper looks Brilliant . Any chance of a competitor to win one FSC???
Well I learnt something about wind farms in this episode
If I had a pigeon permission, I'd be there all day everyday, dawn till dusk!
Is buckshot available in the UK? In the USA it is the most popular shotgun cartridge. Especially right now with all the civil unrest.
Though for long guns meant for social work the semiauto .223 remains the most popular for civilian shooters and law enforcement alike.
Pigeons grandad?? Ye😏!! Shoot them🙄? That's what were here to do😂😂 Class👍 another great one lad's.
What is Andy's best cooking recipe for pigeon? Great show and regards from Scandinavia.👍
Here's our recipe page www.fieldsportschannel.tv/category/game-cookery/recipes/ - no pigeon 😯 - we will do one and put it there. / Charlie
Really liked Andys auto bouncer flappier
Where do you get them
Alot of these antis for one dont know what there on about an pick an choose there animals ,,,all animals need a balance ,sadly some dont have natural predators so we have to help ...simples,, I like the scotch guys crack about packham, BANG ON THERE BROTHER.👍👍✊
Great as always
Ilike it mister
When people use number 6 shot in Uk, is that 2,5mm pellets?
Enjoyed the show. Any plans to review non toxic shotgun cartridges? 🦆🦆
Thanks for this. Yes we will. Simon Whitehead used them effectively on rabbits a couple of months ago for us. Matt Turkey uses steel on crows last week - though an unscientific test shows steel runs out of puff at 55yds compared to lead. And I showed the difference between the materials, including tungsten. What's missing is a terminal ballistics test. / Charlie
Hello Charlie, I do like the idea of the compress rounds for pest control. How much difference is there in the prices with the two non leaded rounds, ie Compress metals and copper rounds?
Thanks for this. IDK that, in the UK, expect to pay £30-£40 for 100 Barnes Varmint Grenade (compress) and £80-£100 for 100 Barnes TTSX (copper). / Charlie
What lens set up in his pillars does Andy use?
Which glasses is Andy using?
David if you did a handstand you'd be mistaken for a mop!
Very disappointed your news didn’t run the story from basc they are dropping legal cover insurance 🤔
Gamebore are good. But they are the only manufacturers that I have had misfires from. Different guns also. Hull all the way.
Does anyone know where you can get one of the bouncer flapper that andy is using. Thanks jason
Nick tait at flightline decoys
Thanks
whether it's target, rifle, handgun, or waterfowl ammo... winchester has always been terrible for me
"Sintered" bullets.
The sword fish clip with so many hits ,,I dont suppose it had large breasted bikini clad females on the boat did it .🤔
Do you need to apply for a license to shoot pigeons now or just have a reason? Since packham got his own way things have become unclear
Have a look at Fcha.nl/generallicences - that has the story. / Charlie
Love the content but don’t want to see pigeon shooting every week mix it up a bit
I suspect they're a bit limited in terms of what's going on at the moment; it's fairly easy for Andy to shoot some pigeons on his land, but quite another for a driven game day with multiple people etc
First
What BASC is doing is a joke
Cut the rubbish background music !, not necessary.
