Roger Daltrey mastered this song. Nobody else can amount to the way he sings it. He was the man for it. Plus the rich strat sound makes it way better.
The reality of the lyrics as sung by Daltrey makes this song an anthem and an affirmation for men, as we are all, LOST BOYS!

Roger Daltrey breathed new life into this song. I have always loved it, and by no means do I slight Elton John's solo or duet with George Michael performances. I just wish that I could here more of the guitar playing at the end of this. I cannot get enough of it. Sounds like Eddy Van Halen. (is it?)

I love the song. I wish I could sing this song to win back my ex girlfriend/ fiance ' , but it's to late now, haven't heard from her in 5 years since she broke up. If I had it to do all over again, I'd follow this example, sing it to my ex. I just wished I held on tighter. I had everything, a good life & girl. & lost my girl, my life is upside down now, things aren't the same. . But I love this song. Roger Daltrey is superb.
