I kos at the moment because I'm trying to level up the traders and a lot of the missions are killing players. That and I just don't trust anyone. But if I wasn't trying to level up I'd go in naked or with a cheap loadout and try to interact.
I believe once factions are implemented where you can choose between volk and ghost, then KOS will be toned down as I’m sure you’re not supposed to kill members of the same faction.

This game needs some kind of incentive for less KOS. Playing with randoms makes this game so much more fun, but there's no reason to trust anyone.

Not beeing sure if you can trust anyone is what make it interesting. Might as well play some PvE shit instead.
