I love Jim - he’s my hero, and I’m sure that he loved doing this performance - and it is pretty amazing. To state however, that this trio were more powerful than Slade is just wrong. I think Jim’s issues with the others is affecting his memory 😁
To be honest Jim should have been the lead guitarist in Slade. He was far, far better than Dave Hill. He is a musician that would have done well in any band and should have left Slade and pursued a solo career or joined another band where his talents would have been better appreciated. Great all round talent.

Not surprised, Jim is a great musician, could have been a guitarist front man for his own band but loyal to the lads in Slade.
