Let's plant some soybeans | Vlog 19
As we wait for our last field of corn to dry out and be planted, we decided to start planting some soybeans. This is our first spring with a new to us 1990 CCS John Deere air seeder. Everything works as planned and got a good number of acres planted.

As a child my dad bought me a die cast John Deere tractor and I live in Metro Chicago so I am a fan of John Deere, mostly because of that toy.

How many acres do run? Is it just you and Sandi running the farm or do you have hired help?

We crop about 1750 acres. It's just Sandi and I here full time doing most of the work. Our kids, friends or other help out in the really busy times. We did have a full time person up to last November but I was gone a lot with farm organization involvement.
