I just ordered mines this passed Friday and my son and I put it up in minutes. It was fun & easy. Got the best box spring & mattress support ever!!!! This is the ONLY bed frame one will ever need, except for making their own out of thick wood, which wood, is always better because it's natural.
My mom got me a full size foam mattress and full size bed frame from Walmart as an early birthday present, which is in a few weeks. Watched your video and it certainly gave me the confidence to put mine together, thank you Phil...I greatly appreciate you! 🙏🏻

thank you for this easy to understand and concise video! :) i didn't want my bed to have a bulky headboard and found a bed frame that looks exactly like this one. how is it 2 yrs later?
I bought one through Ebay, I got a great deal on mine (Queen size), I plan on putting a sheet of cabinet grade plywood 1/2" thick to spread out the weight load better.. since it's thin walled metal it will eventually start to sag, this will prevent that from happening...

I think I lost my wrench that puts this together, the allen wrench or whatever? And I might be moving so I have to dissemble some of it (possibly). Do you know what kind of size wrench I would need if I can't find the one it came with?
I just put mine together today. The head and foot of the bed where you have the bolt and washer is the frame suppose to wiggle? When trying to tighten each corner it seems as if it doesn’t want to.

Heya! Just ordered this bed and it arrives on Monday, I noticed that there seems to be slots for a possible headboard if people want it? I have been looking all over for a headboard but I am not good with these things. Do you have any recommendations?? Do I need certain screws? I don’t know what to do 😅

Hi I just saw your review and am wondering how the frame is holding up .
Good, I haven't had any problems with it structurally. We are using a queen sized 11" memory foam mattress on it without a box spring. The mattress itself weighs about 100 lbs and with two people adds an additional 275 lbs. The metal corners at the foot of the bedframe are easy to bang your shins into though so we put rubber bumpers on them which are hidden by the bed skirt. The only thing with using a bed skirt is that because the mattress sits down in the frame about an inch the proportions of the bed skirt are off so it doesn't quite reach the floor.

The frame is still pretty great! No sagging or loose connections after using it daily for several years.

No, I haven't experienced any sagging, though I am using a memory foam mattress with a high density (without a box spring), so sagging from this type of mattress would be quite unusual.

I'm not sure. You would have to measure the outer frame. You're talking about something like a wooden 4-poster bed, right? I think it would vary based on your individual furniture's spec.

So that's actually a blanket cover and inside is a Korean mink blanket. It's real heavy, cozy, and warm!

There weren't sizes indicated on the diagram but they look to be either m6 or m8 size bolts that are approximately 40mm in length. Any big box store like Lowes or Home Depot will carry these bolts and the accompanying nuts as pieces you can buy individually. If you're not sure on the size, I'd buy just one to see if it fits first before buying a whole bunch, you can always return it and exchange for a different size if it's not the right one.

the space bettween the slat was too far.. will it gonna sag your mattres overtime?
You should use Thread locker It's a liquid that locks screws in place With a Sealand And I'm replacing the nuts that came with it is with Is plastic threaded nuts so they will not come loose over time.

According tot he manufacturer specs the weight limit is up to 3000 pounds. Not sure how one could even really verify that.

Hm, maybe some of the screws are over tightened? Not sure, a rubber mallet might help you seat the last slats in.

How would this be with a combined weight of 480 pounds for 2 and hold up to vigorous activity? Strength and sounds?
My memory foam mattress weighs about 60 lbs and with two people on it we probably add around 300 lbs. I guess it depends on your mattress type too. Since our bedframe sits on a carpeted floor it doesn't slide at all, and the memory foam absorbs a bulk of any motions that occurs on top, very little if any of that translates into sound or movement of the bed and frame. I haven't experienced or detected any loosening or structural problems with the metal frame in terms of strength and the bed itself is silent; I don't think I've ever heard it squeak.
Mine is squeaking after six months. I’ve recently re tightened everything and even put fabric in the u joints where the slats sit. Very annoying. Any suggestions?
Get a few drops of WD-40 or other oil based product on the areas where it is squeaking.

Good! No problems with it. We use it with a memory foam mattress and no foundation and with two of us plus the mattress we're probably around 350 lbs. I think it would probably work well for you.

I have an 8 inch foam mattress.
What kind of headboard attachment do u need
It should be one that can be bolted to the frame. The bolt hole placement is at about 6 and 10 inches from the floor.
Does it have to be a foam bed for it to sit on? Can it be a regular bed
If you use an innerspring mattress, you'll need to have a box spring under it, sitting directly on the frame first. An innerspring mattress cannot be used without a boxspring, as these types of slat frames do not offer enough support for that type of mattress.
How do you add a headboard later? Thank you
You'll need to buy a stand alone headboard designed to attach to a separate frame, and you'll bolt it to the two legs with the holes in them at the head of the bed. You may or may not need an additional metal adapter bracket depending on the size and construction of the headboard you end up getting.
What kind of mattress is it spring or not
I use a foam mattress on top of this bedframe. You could use a spring mattress, however, you would need to use a boxspring under the mattress as well on top of the frame.
Does the Bed make sounds than going up or in to the Bed
No, this bedframe does not creak or squeak when you are on it. I'm using a memory foam mattress and haven't had any issues with noises from the frame.

Hm, I don't know if you can get replacement legs that do have the headboard holes. The only other option may be to drill the holes on your own using the proper tools.

Yes, the legs at the head of the bed have holes for use in mounting an optional headboard, see 1:08.

Nope, not a bit.
You needed to pull out so I can see the angle of the pieces when you were putting the screws everybody knows how to put screws on and they know sometimes you got to wiggle it

Great! With two of us on it nightly (about 260 lbs total) it's in great shape, and we have no issues with it deteriorating or loosening over time.

Yes, but only if you use a boxspring underneath the mattress as well for support.

No, regular innerspring mattress require a foundation for proper support and the slats likely won't be able to provide that on their own. How long did this bed last
We're going on 4 years in a few months, haven't had any issues with it. We switched from a box spring with innerspring mattress to memory foam without a box spring. Holding up to daily use pretty good. No squeaking or loosening of parts as far as I can tell.

Big box stores like Lowes or Home Depot carry these bolts and the accompanying nuts that you can buy individually. I'd bring one with you to compare the sizes to make sure they are the same. There are usually sizing guides in the section where they sell the bolts too so you can determine the size and thread of the bolt you have. If you don't know how to use the sizing tools, a store associate should be able to help you find a match.

I got it at Amazon, though I don't recall the price (link in the video description). It wasn't expensive though, not like buying a wood frame from a brick and mortar retailer.
