Need For Speed Payback - LV399 Lamborghini Aventador is slower than it's Huracan Sister in this game

- Fully Upgraded Level 399 879HP Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 race spec gameplay for Need For Speed Payback. Showcasing it's overall performance in 2 events and 2 online races. Performance/Speed Cards and stats + live tuning are shown at the end of the video. Played with keyboard and manual transmission.
Since a lot of people asked, I have now included live tuning which I universally use in all of my cars (also dont make a huge difference if it's in middle). Meanwhile, got lucky in online races so there are 2 races.
Also title. Huracan did 1:36.99 in Mountain Run while the Aventador gets 1:39.78. You can check out my LV399 Huracan video here.

Lamborghini Aventador Race Spec Performance Review:
Title. Firstly if you remember how the NFS 2015's Aventador handles, Payback's Aventador handling model is very similar to 2015's version. In the default tune NFS 2015 handling, it's really heavy in the drifting but with tuning you can make it light. However if the drift angle gets large, it suddenly loses a lot of speed. It's also one of the slowest drifting speed in NFS 2015.
A similar drifting handling is also seen in the Aventador for NFS Payback. When the drift angle gets large, it loses a lot of speed and needs a lot of room to regain all of those speed loss. This makes the Aventador's average cornering speed slow for any corners that require it to drift a large angle. The Aventador is best at high speed corners where you don't need to drift large angles.
Acceleration and NOS accel wise, it's great and better than the Huracan, and it's the only thing that it's better than it's sister Huracan. Hmmm high acceleration and very weak cornering speeds, that sounds similarly to the Aston Martin Vulcan.
How does it compare with 911 RSR and Regera:
4 seconds slower than the 911 Carrera RSR in Mountain Run. It may have the acceleration but it's overall cornering speed is just too weak, especially when you need those large drift angles for hairpin turns. You are better off with the Huracan.

given that Huracan apparently beats Aventador in real life by acceleration and 'Ring lap (weird, right?), this sounds logical

Krzysztof Dolecki aventador is v12 and huracan is v10. I also think the aventador is mkre horsepower so it should be faster in a straight line regardless. I know the huracan is smaller but not by that much.
They should make separate online speedlists for Regera Only and No Regeras...

Honest question, should I pick this game up? Your gameplay makes it look fun but i'm hearing mixed things about the game
the thing is there're 2 major groups of players arguing with each other: the new youngsters who seems to like this sort of game more, and the "last gen" players who grew up with more "proper" style of racing games thus treating the physics in this game as garbage.
MSWGR has been remaining silent whenever people are asking whether they should buy Payback, but if u've been reading his descriptions over the past few years for NFS u can tell he's (at least slightly) more inclined to the "last gen" group. These videos were made for the sake of entertaining modern viewers rather than his own enjoyment.
Therefore my opinion would be: Don't ask. Stick to your current feelings, buy it so that u can screw yourself up and learn your les ... I mean find out the answer for yourself..
I am someone who likes both eras of NFS, I say get it on a sale.
If you were a fan of Need for Speed 2015 you should go for it. It has improved from the last game with better physics and more customization.

I have a request: could you set a benchmark time on Danza Macabra that’s better than your Beck Kustom’s time in the Regera? That way I’ll try to beat it.
I won't be touching regera for quite some time, but I think the time with becks Kustom is quite strong and I think I can push below 2mins with becks.

Runner doesn't really matter considering it's not available for online play. The reason he's sticking to Race is because that and Offroad are the two that are used online, so I imagine after finding the best Race type cars, he'll see if he can find the best Offroad type car. Though it's likely that the best offroad is the RSR or that stupid Panamera.

I'm thinking about buying this game. Before I buy, can some of you guys please verify somethings for me ?
1) is this game pay to win ? Since it is published by EA and lately there are many bad things going on with EA and star war battle front 2.
2) Are there a lot of grinding ? I dont mind to grind but I still want to know.
3) How is the multiplayer experience ? I remember it was pretty bad in nfs: rival because of the way they designed, it wasn't easy to race with online people. From what I see, it seems that this game has a lobby system where everyone gets in and the host (?) starts the race.
Simca and Esdese 1) Not pay to win, the only thing that can be bought are useless tokens and supply drops.
2) Its a grind, the only missions I had trouble on are the runner and drift missions
3) Never tried multiplayer....
No, yes, subjective. Which is to say, I fucking despise it.
3) Multiplayer is just speedlists, you play races against people and that’s it, sadly there’s not online freeroam or coop campaign :(
1) Not really, as long as you connect to EA frequently, the free shipments on level up will do you good.
2) Grinding isn't too big, most of the time you'll get good cards and the free shipments is a good supply of money and trade-ins.
3) Netcode is pretty bad, basically teleporting bumper cars. Wouldn't recommend playing it at this state.
