Hello i got my bio registered on 29th November and 2 days after i received not straightforward mail and later interview was said to be on 20th December later postponed to 29th December. My interview went well but again today i.e, o-n 4th January i again received a not straight forward mail. and my classes starts from 11th January. I am really very distressed. what should i do? and why did i receive the mail twice? Please help . I am literally in so much Agony. Reply

But bank people deny by saying that they never received a verification mail on the first hand. It’s disheartening. Now I have to reapply and defer my intake from January to May

Hello brother, mera chota bhai ka biometrics tha 13/09/2024 ko. Priority service opt karne ke baadh humey kuch response nhi mila UKVI se. Uske baadh ok 7th working day we tried calling UKVi and escalating. After multiple escalations within 15 working days (on 09/10/2024) we get an email saying your visa is refused as you didnt provide the information we asked on 16/09/2024. This is a NFS email which says that my application is not straight forward and they will be unable to decide on my application in 3 weeks time ( This is a standard processing time for skilled worker visa without priority services) and they would need some more time. I gave my biometrics in Chandigarh on 22nd July 2023 for a UK Visa. On 24th July 2023, I received the not-so-straightforward email and I waited for exactly 4 weeks. I then made a paid call enquiry and I received an email from the Sheffield Student team on 25th August 2023 that my issue had been escalated but my process is not so straightforward. I have not been asked for any documents since I gave my biometrics and I still did a paid email enquiry and sent them all the documents. To date, no response. When I made another paid call a week later to UKVI I was asked to wait for 15 working days starting 25.08.23 and they can't do anything more. My course at uni starts on 15th September and I am feeling helpless. Does anyone know what to do? Edit: got my visa on 10th october 2023. Successfully went to uk on 12th october 2023.😇

UPDATES BELOW: Oct 2nd: I’ve received this email exactly one day after the biometric appointment, no additional documents were asked for and I have priority service, unlike the people in the comments I’ll keep you updated of the outcome once it comes, hope it won’t take long! Oct 9th: Today I have received my visa, everything went smoothly, so don’t be bothered from this “unfortunately” email. But tbh, each case is different so keep that in mind! Good luck to everyone

Nowadays its normal to get NSF mail . They may ask for additional documents or decide within 15-21 days hopefully

I had my biometric on 28th July . All my documents had already been uploaded by my agent and at the VfS center, they only asked for my document checklist and appointment letter along with passport. Did i not require to give them my original documents? It’s been 4-5 days already and i have received only 1 mail till then ( day before yesterday) by my university saying, “ your CAS number has been used by uk home office”.
Please reply and tell what do you think about it.
Once you upload your docs then no need to bring originals at VFS. You will get decision within week fron UKVI.

How many days applied visa standard or priority service
I gave my biometrics in Chandigarh on 22nd July 2023 for a UK Visa. On 24th July 2023, I received the not-so-straightforward email and I waited for exactly 4 weeks. I then made a paid call enquiry and I received an email from the Sheffield Student team on 25th August 2023 that my issue had been escalated but my process is not so straightforward. I have not been asked for any documents since I gave my biometrics and I still did a paid email enquiry and sent them all the documents. To date, no response. When I made another paid call a week later to UKVI I was asked to wait for 15 working days starting 25.08.23 and they can't do anything more. My course at uni starts on 15th September and I am feeling helpless. Does anyone know what to do?
Edit: got my visa on 10th october 2023. Successfully went to uk on 12th october 2023.😇

I have applied standard visitor Visa and biometric also completed later realise that there is error in date of birth in visa application, what do you think do we need to cancel the application and reapply again or are there is a chance to this this innocent error they may correct based on the passport?
They will check your passport and correct accordingly, no need to do anything at this stage. It is considered a typing error.

Then August 14 I received a mail
