    I find it amazing how many people "cant stand the bagpipe" who have never heard of Piobaireachd, these complainers have never heard the pipes played correctly like this, the sheer magic of it, I think the world would change if they did.

    Can't say I enjoyed this version of the ground but interesting to hear it played that way. It would seem this is one of the few tunes still played many different ways.

    Very different setting than the one I got from my teacher, but frankly, I think it's more melodic. Very nice. Shame about the one tassel, mind.

    What setting is that? Nearly unrecognizable in the ground, at least from the more common settings.

      Sounds like a bit of a sanitized (e.g., conventional cadences) version of the Donald MacDonald setting. (The DMcD setting had G-D-E gracenotes instead of taorluaths in the urlar, though.)
