    Hi good day,
May i know why u dont compute the gmr of conductor? Thanks

Hi, you raised a very good question.
GMR which stand for Geometrical means radius is more specifically related to the conductors's self inductance based on its own internal properties, this parameter is more crucial when calculating the line inductors for a bundled 3 phase (3 core) cables where the standard 1 meter distance between the cable does NOT apply.
For overhead lines we are more focused on the mutual inductance of the horizontal transposed and equally spaced lines. GMR is essential for both bundled and separated conductors but has a more pronounced effect on bundled conductors due to the proximity of multiple wires.
In short you are right, GMR add more accuracy to the measurements or calculations, so its an important detail to add into the calculations.
