To explain the dva clip, the game counted zenyattas demech of dva but not the kicked when you were out of mech. So to the game, it was you falling off the map which allowed you to keep dva. Mystery heroes lets you keep the character if you die due to falling off the map. Its a sneaky trick to use if you really want to stay on the character. Only downside is that it resets your ult charge.

This is to prevent people just jumping off and dying because they don't like the character they got. You should ask your viewers (recently new gm players) to send you videos of their average game and dictate if they deserve gm or go back to plat/diamond. It would be a great way to see the issue in match making and make fun of chat for once.
