      Nine years is an eternity. And you're still here!
      I actually need to find a gripper for both myself (I lift), and my 93-year-old father. I'm just looking around online, at the moment.

    Well explained the positioning of the gripper! I think setting it that high in the hand is easier with these HG grippers because their handles spread is narrower. When I do that on Captains of Cush, as my hand is average/small, it requires setting it by starting the close with the other hand, because not all my fingers can reach around the handle

  • @ChristofferCollin

    I got my grippers today, was able to close the 200lbs 20 times and the 250 lbs 3 times. It will be exiting to see where Im at in 12 months of grip training. I do BJJ and this will help my game a lot. I prefer this product to the Captain of Crush because I dont have to "set" it before trying to close it.

    I got into grippers in 94. Wrestling with my friend he noticed my grip was very strong. After that I got into basic grippers. Regular and inverted for 100's of reps. I would also squeeze a regular scale with both hands and press and hold. I had a power glove where I could train each individual finger adding free weight to a cable. After 6 month to a yr of hard training I stopped.

  • @Csut555
    @Csut555 13 ปีที่แล้ว

    The grippers will make your hands look thicker over time but don't expect to end up with hands like Denis Cyplenkov.
    The area you'll see the biggest gains in is the under side of your forearm. Be sure to do hammer curls as well to build up the top side of your arm.

      That will vary from person to person, there is not a set time frame for strength gains that are universal for everyone. But it might be possible to close the 300 within a year or two of consistent training.

    I got back into grippers last month. I ordered the HG 150 and can do 50 reps with my right hand and 40 with my left.. Very little rest..3-4 sets.. Reps vary, I included some forced reps... I already notice my grip strength after 2 weeks of training. I work in a warehouse. Moving furniture and tvs is easier know. I never rrealized how much strong forearms and hands can help so much. My goal is to crush a soda can till it explodes.. I think I'm over training though.
