A very good video Simon which is not just for beginners because we can all get cort up the latest trends and forget about the old tricks I tend to use four bottom baits chopped in half in the wide stocking which works a treat
Tried the bait in the bag method yesterday adapted to include crumb/pellet. Combined with the German rig tip from your other video I managed to land an elusive mirror from my local water that had not been out for 13mths! Nice one Simon mate 👍😁
Good vid Simon but nobody shares their tips..!!! I have one Tying bags up at home before a session I add the bait into the pva twist it into a tight ball then dip my pliers into 3mm of water and then crush the twisted netting for 5 secs then cut it off in centre of the crushed part and it’s ready for the next one. I have used snipe nosed pliers but it’s trickier.
I use it 90% of my fishing time, the other 10% is float fishing )) What else gives super versatility, total hook protection and 100% baiting accuracy? When i first tried it many moons ago, it was a complete game changer. Nice vid!
@@SimonDewCarpFishing I agree, a lot carpers just tend load the bag and chuck it out not thinking how easily the pellets and boilies move where as a stringer tend to stay near the hook bait
Great tips Simon will be using all of them in my coming sessions. Just placed my order with catch-more and got a nice 10% discount using your name 😁. Well in keep the vids coming mate 👏🏻
You can but I'd keep it really small to avoid the top bead moving. You could also add a little bit of PVA tape above the top bead to help prevent this👌
What did you think guys? Any PVA tips and tricks you've used with good success?
I’ve tried most of them, more often than not I use a stringer but I use pva thread instead of the tape
@@dermothill8504 tape is better in my opinion as you can choose how the baits are spread and they don't move around 👌
Love the last demo....such an obvious way...Ronnie's all the way with that one now....cheers
Cheers mate hope it works for you 😊

Cheers fella much appreciated and thanks for the tip I may try using half baits 👌

Great vid mate, inspires putting a bit more thought into the area. Thanks
Thanks mate much appreciated. I hope it helps you put a few fish on the bank 👌
Brilliant little edges thank you Simon.
Welcome mate 👌
Just when you think you seen all the pva tactics I love the first one great video Simon 👍
Thanks mate really appreciate that 👌
I've tried 2 of these pva tips but I'm loving the bait in the bag one going to try that the weekend coming thanks Simon and tight lines buddy👍
It's a good tactic mate and you can have anything in the bag really as long as your hookbait is in there 👌
Some really good tips Simon with PVA mesh i will be using all 3 in my fishing.
Cheers fella hope it helps you catch a few 👌
Great tips there Simon!
Cheers mate hope they work for you 👊
Thanks Simon, great video
Cheers fella much appreciated 👌
reinventing the wheel simon..
Not really mate just sharing my ways of doing it that I don't see many other people doing. 👍
Great tip Simon, will be using those ideas 😊
Cheers fella hope it helps you catch a few 👌
Brilliant tips! I'll definitely be trying
Cheers fella tight lines 👌

Very true!
Well put together bud food for thought would help stop buying rig foam.
Cheers fella much appreciated for dissolving nuggets look a packing foam. It's the same stuff and super cheap 👌
Could you use mesh bags with a stiff coated braid, feels it might sit funny or cause a kink
Yes you can absolutely. I would try to feel the lead down on a tight line which helps straighten the hook link 👌
great wee video i use some of them already
Glad you like them!
I also think the stringer is an underused method
@@dermothill8504 oh definitely mate I like a triangle stringer as it protects the hook 😉
@@SimonDewCarpFishing I agree, a lot carpers just tend load the bag and chuck it out not thinking how easily the pellets and boilies move where as a stringer tend to stay near the hook bait

That's great mate. Really good quality stuff 👌
Brilliant, just a quick one for anyone to answer, can I use a mesh bag on a heli setup or would it be too heavy ?
You can but I'd keep it really small to avoid the top bead moving. You could also add a little bit of PVA tape above the top bead to help prevent this👌
Simon Dew Carp Fishing excellent and Thankyou for the reply, some great ideas I will definitely be adding to my fishing 🎣
Great tips Thanks for that Cheers mate
Cheers mate hope they help 👌
Nice tips dude !
Thanks fella 👌
Useful tips 👊👊
Cheers fella 👌
Great stuff
Cheers guys 👌
Hi simon! Did you use the same narrow mesh for the pellet bag.? Love your soft voice. You sound like Simon McCabe. Thankyou.
Hi mate yes I used the same mesh but it would work with any size to suit the bait you're using 👌
👍👍
amazing video
Thanks 👍👌
I used to leave a long tag at one end of the pva mesh and tie it to the swivel on my rig, then nick the hook into the other end, no tangles there
That's a good tip mate I like that one 👌
How do you put your new pva bags onto the old stem? just slide it all on?
Yes mate just slide them on and tie a knot in the end 👌

This is aimed at beginners, should be more clear in the title i thought i was gonna learn something lol
Fair comment mate I may change the title cheers 👌
