If paula still misses Sophie why the fuck paula went with Sophie. Instead of shagging with that gobshite Tracy Barlow. Paula should have go with Sophie travelling. Hmmm not surprised that they confirmed Paula’s relationships status or lack there of just to make sure that people understood she wasn’t cheating on Sophie. Hopefully her and Sophie will reconcile on Brooke’s return sometime this year. However I’m happy for any storyline they give Paula at this point. The more we see of the Hot Solicitor the better.

It kind of reminds me of American Graffitti when Steve Bolander (Class of 1962) suggest to his Girlfriend Laurie Henderson Class Of 1963 that they should see other folks while he's away in The East Studying. I hope Stirling gets an Award at the BSA's she so richly deserves it.
Well this upsets all the Saula fans. Thought Sophie and Paula said they loved each other before she left, and for some reason Sophie then went and got with someone else a couple months later 🤦♀️🤷♀️

If this had been a US Soap, they would have done a Flashback Scene where they talked about being "open". I remember watching American Graffitti and Steve Bolander played by Ron Howard and Laurie Henderson played by Cindy Williams in their Pre-Happy Days/Laverne & Shirley Roles played High School Sweethearts. Steve was leaving for College in The East, and she had one ore year to go at Dewey High School. He suggests they see other people since he was going to be away from September to December. She agrees, puts on a brave face but is heartbroken. In the long run he doesn't leave because he doesn't want to get out of his comfort zone the same way Ken Barlow never left the Street.
I do agree. Will be interesting when this gets out as it will. When and how will Sophie find out? Their reunion, whenever that is, will be eagerly anticipated. Carla and Paula would make a good couple. My fingers are crossed for Sophie and Paula however.

Given that this is a soap, there's always the possibility that Paula could've gotten the wrong end of the stick (since we haven't actually seen the social media posts and only have Paula's interpretation to go on). That would certainly leave plenty of fodder for the writers to play with when Brooke returns.
