Crowns Mello section isn’t the best in my opinion simply because they don’t feature them enough. Go listen to SCV and Cavies since 2017. Their Mellos have been absolutely unreal in recent years

They pop up randomly on TH-cam. Some stay for months, and some stay for just a few days before getting the axe from TH-cam. I got 2009 and 2012 in 4k from some channel last year.

I'm a trumpet player but I think the low brass is the most vital part of any horn line.

Check out what HBCU bands have their mellos do, it’s awesome. Most of them have higher ranges than I’ve heard in DCI.
