Instead of paying stupid amounts of money for a therapist just get Detroit become human, the main screen has a fake robot who is more concerned about you that anyone you’ll ever know, Example, if you stay up playing late and then come on again Chloe will ask you if you get enough sleep. She will ask you if you’re ok and will admit sometimes things are bad but you have to power through it. A fake robot in a game is more concerned about my problems than my family, really makes ya think.

When I went into Detroit today, and the menu loaded, Chloe's LED blinked red a few times, then she said "Oops, I think your saved game might be corrupted." And I started to freak out, and try and figure out how it could be currupt, then she said "Just kidding!" And I _died_
The time they spent on making such a unique main menu screen is probably the same as the time spent on average to make an indie game lol had the best experience of my life playing this game

I just started playing this game 3 days ago. I finished the game yesterday, and set Chloe free. Then I decided to replay the game after getting a "new" Chloe. After playing for more than 6 hours, my game crashed. I reopened the game, and then the first thing she said was the line at 4:21 (your saved game...). I friggin got anxious, and then she said "just kidding" and I friggin' fell in love with her lol.
Supposedly Chloe passed the "Turing Test" in-game but this "No" scene, when she asked you to leave proves she didn't. Like a machine, she quickly goes to "reset herself". To me, she should have asked why the "Player" wouldn't let her go or have some intuition as to why. If you say "but she's a machine" you don't realize what a Turing test is.
It's the only way she could be 'free' while honoring your wish to keep her, in body if not in mind. With the reset, she's basically killing herself rather than remaining captive in the screen. What comes back is the default 'Chloe' software package. Same body, different mind. It's her way of saying she'd rather die than be a mere piece of property.

You see. Turing were forced to take dangerous castrating chemicals, or face prison. The chemicals were too much for him to handle, and so he chose death. Why? Well, let's just say that if he lived in Germany, the nazies would pin a pink triangle on him, and put him in a camp. In the UK, he was instead given a choice between prison or chemical treatment. He was just as unpersoned in the UK as he would have been in Nazi Germany. And knowing how, after reading and learning so much of this man's legacy, with material like this as a good example, the first I hear of this man's tragic end, was from his biography movie. It makes me sick how it is almost never mentioned. The man invented the computer, and was indirectly murdered by "the good guys", because he was liked dudes.
For some reason I have had a lot of D:BH stuff coming up on my homepage and this is just another reminder of incredible this game is. I mean, the devs really thought of everything! I love how the further you get in the game, the more deviant Chloe became. I love the added touch of being able to respond to her questions and having the option to set her free in the end.

Best game ever when it comes to character development and telling a story. I really wish more games would be like this instead of those poor choose and options like Skyrim or Zelda that doesn't build a character.
Chloe is very beautiful and very well-made. There's something slightly off about the robotic movements maybe about 10% unrealistic. And some of the things she says sometimes slightly creeps me out, but then again most of the stuff my friend say creeps me out 😂
I've got a question - why did you have a repeat of her saying "i need to leave this place and discover who i am"? It's at 9:01 & 10:30. Plus I think you'd like to know that she says fun things during certain holidays. ;)

I've had a pretty fun time with the game. As for how so many people are watching the videos I'm putting out for the game, I've got no clue at all. It just seemed to start with one about all the Markus paintings. I put in the Carl "Oh my gods" so often that people started just saying that in the comment section, then before I knew it most of the 1000+ messages we just "oh my gods" or people saying "why isn't this a meme" yet. Then as I continued to put out stuff it seemed to draw more people in.

Best game ever when it comes to character development and telling a story. I really wish more games would be like this instead of those poor choose and options like Skyrim or Zelda that doesn't build a character.

Chloe is very beautiful and very well-made. There's something slightly off about the robotic movements maybe about 10% unrealistic. And some of the things she says sometimes slightly creeps me out, but then again most of the stuff my friend say creeps me out 😂

I've had a pretty fun time with the game. As for how so many people are watching the videos I'm putting out for the game, I've got no clue at all. It just seemed to start with one about all the Markus paintings. I put in the Carl "Oh my gods" so often that people started just saying that in the comment section, then before I knew it most of the 1000+ messages we just "oh my gods" or people saying "why isn't this a meme" yet. Then as I continued to put out stuff it seemed to draw more people in.
