It’s the inflection pattern of “hey”, the eg and the drum dropouts or holds that make it sound like the chorus in Heart Shaped Box. Definitely hear the Nirvana sound. Even if unintentional, great way to show homage to one of the best bands.
I love the raspiness of his voice, it brings me back to the Grunge Era and it sounds so uniquely like him!
I ran into Yungblud during the beginning of this Hellish Pandemic and have since become thoroughly ADDICTED to not just his Music(because it’s mesmerizing and entirely relatable and purely real) but Dom himself because his unapologetically himself!
I hope to meet him one Day because he’s an amazing individual!! I want to hug him and… I want to be his! 🥴😊❤️

Sometimes I really can't believe Panic @ The Disco / Brendon Urie is still going STRONG. I remember the one year PATD was performing for New Year's Rockin Eve and I was like "well better enjoy it because probably won't see them again" - oh how wrong I was. Another band I really love that I discovered a few months ago is Pale Waves - gives me a 2000s feeling and it's great.
