Split pea soup!

2 bags of Goya split pea
2 medium onions
6 garlic cloves
1/2 bag baby carrots,
6 bay leaves,
4 celery stalks
6 cups of beef stock 
6 cups of water
3/4 of a pound of thickly, sliced ham, cubed,
1 hambone,

That’s exactly how my mother taught me to make split pea soup. I always save the ham bones from Easter and Thanksgiving for soup. Love you guys. You feel like family ❤️

I love all lentils! My family puts cauliflower right before serving and it’s delicious! Just cut the cauliflower into small florets and toss with some olive oil throw them on a baking sheet pop them in the oven. I’m Sicilian and I think it’s from the town my family is from. It’s delicious!

I'm Sicilian and my Grandmother and Mother used to put Cauliflower and or boiled eggs in spaghetti sauce!
It's my absolute favorite 😍
Especially with linguini noodles!
