Sometime team comp is important like split is purely a Skye/kayo map, Sometime team comp isn't important like ascent is the playground for any agent. Team comp only applies to those who can play most of the whole agent roster.
one thing i really struggle with (im currently silver) is economy. i would appreciate and updated econ guide because all the existing ones are outdated. ive only been playing for almost 4 months and i understand the concept of save, eco, bonus, full buy, etc. but i still struggle managing my own economy. when to buy, what to buy, especially with the introduction of the regen shield. i prioritize buying util every round even after losing pistol because i play sentinel, should i be doing that? that kind of decision-making always messes me up. thanks a lot :D
Team chemistry is more important... we lose 2 rounds in a row and duelists get toxic or someone starts blaming duelists for not getting frags etc etc and the whole game goes trash or few rounds later the coms go dead. It always good to stay cool and not trash talk even if your team is really bad. I have won few games in valorant where i had a score of 20-2 and my team wasnt doing great and even sometimes when my score was 0-10 and my team was winning but they were not concerned about my score.
iron to silver- just aim. if your aim is good u will rank up no matter what silver to diamond- aim plus a little brain (yes u dont need brain in lower than this) diamond to radiant- you need to know the game like its meant along with team comp and strats.

as an diamond3/asc1 id say just play youre main as you will play much better i played on an smurf ones i did one game on my main then I filled one game and i got 33 kills on the game i played my main and 12 on the game i filled (btw my smurf account is around dia1/dia2 and around the ssame hidden mmr

I think you should do lurking as it can be really useful sometimes as you can maybe catch defenders rotating or something

Imo the best team comp is made up of agents that can both flash and smoke or one or the other. It’s so painful to verse but it works really well

you only need one smoker to help get site or hold site let ur aim do the talking
