Brother, if you are small holder, you can actually make one if you have any kind of motor on your farm. All you do is have a couple of cutting teeth or knives spinning attacked to the motor. I made one exactly similar to the attached link. Went to a local auto garage and they made me cutting teeth and small belt attachment. Thats it it works like a $1000 machine....I had an old 2HP electric motor....it only cost me $50 to make the cutting attachment.... The guy talks of 10-15 years of FMD dealing with the forage chopper, that's where he lost me. If he doesn't know about the product he is selling, I wonder if I should have confidence in the product.
