By far the coolest thing I found was a group of great people to share wheeling adventures with. You, Scott, Shari, Donnie and many others made the summer of wheeling in Alaska spectacular. Kevin and the whole crew from @trailtoyz OffRoad are amazing. Thanks for the wonderful summer.
I wish I had been on this trip. Amazing!!! Last time we went out that way I got hung up on the rocks and ripped up my floor and rockers winching off. But we didn’t make it far past the river due to high current.
Oh no! Thats not good. Yeah the water was not super high so that's good. We will definitely be doing another run soon I hope. Thinking maybe after hunting season before the snow comes.
Hard to tell from the video, but you can wheel that river for about 30 or 35ish miles up the valley. The valley splits a few miles further up the river from. Where it looks like you were, but both have some pretty awesome trails that go deep into the mountains. Happy wheeling.
Yeah depending on the weather, the crossings can get deeper. In this video it was low compared to some of the other times we have been out. Make sure you stick it, walk out into it or have a snorkel.
What's the coolest thing you found off-road in Alaska?
Once in a while we find abandoned trucks. That always amazes me how they end up out there and abandoned.

@@McSpeedAlaskanAdventures What abandoned truck was the coolest? The spray can paint job one on the connector trail is cool!

Yes! It goes way back 🔙 nto the mountains!
That mud pit....ugh. I actually made it through without needing to winch first time ever a couple weekends ago :)
Nice! Yeah, definitely dryer than normal
Man this is Awesome! I don’t know if my rig is waterproofed for crossings like that, gonna be a lot different than the wheeling I’m used to!

Idk if my little tj rubicon on 33s can handle all that lol.
A snorkel is the main thing. You could make it far I bet!
@ thanks for the reply. I’ll be in to see ya guys when I can.
