Good stuff man! Been researching warlock because I've only seen everyone using summoner. I feel like mixup game is stronger on warlock since you don't have to take the extra step of summoning to utilize moves.
Shapeshifter617 The mixup game, as you call it is definitely weaker. Quan Chi only has 3 overhead - 2 of which don't count. [B2 (Doesn't Kombo without Meter), Jumping Attacks (They dont really count) and DB4 (Which cannot be Kombo'd from)] So really he only has 1. Summoner gives him very good Overhead Low Mixup, sending the bat low. And allows you to juggle off moves you normally couldn't. Saying that - I think I know what you meant and that Warlock has more freedom and pressure because he can run up and keep it going on knockdown instead of summoning the bat. Which I agree.
ThreeEyedPea I dont think it's gone completely. I just think the Metered version has been removed and made into a stand alone SpecialMove 'Portal Scoop'. And yes I think this update is only available on consoles at the minute.
ThreeEyedPea Yeah instead of: foward jump 1-2-1+3 what I do is : forward jump 1-b3-2-4 > LB. Gives 7 hits but you gotta land close enough for the b3 to hit.
Jas Dhindsa If you want to do the Kombo Grab the combo is 121+3 (or 121+3 however you'd prefer to look at it) Now I did read in the patch notes that the console versions have done something to that move, but I heard it's still in the game. Do you have access to Portal Scoop Special Move? (Because that was in the patch notes as a new special move and would give a hint to why you can't do it)

I main Quan Chi Warlock but i have to admit dealing damage with him is a hard task since his combos arent the easiest and they do little harm. I hope they patch him somehow in the near future.
Dieter Van Houtte I couldn't disagree more. He can access his high damaging combos easily with just 1 meter from anywhere. The standard combo I use is: B324, 4 > BF3, WALK BACK, FJ2, F212 > EX.DB1-B, DF2 = 44% He can access variation on this combo easily with F2122 opener, air-to-air FJ1, B2 > EX>DB1-B... He really can get into combos a lot easier than other characters when he hits. His main falw is he only had 3 overhead; Jumping Attacks - which dont really count, DB4, which has zero combo potential at all, and B2 which needs meter to combo off of.

Just as a tip. I found that on the 47% normal combo, the layout for it is incorrect. It should be EX.BF3 not 1.
I can do a 52% with all three meters wall combo however. More damage then x ray
When i press 1+3 it doesn't grab him by the legs, it just does his l1 grab?

Santino Tafarella they did patch the portal slam so now its a input special move. Maybe they buffed the damage on it as well?
