Just recently got into doing custom avatar stuff for VRChat. I just want to that that I seriously love all the content your channel pushes out. Super helpful and please keep it up!
@@PxINKY i see, i struggle really badly without it being shown (just how my brain learns) and i struggle to keep up with other TH-camrs. so thank u i'll be waiting for the video, have a good day!
Nice Tutorial! Do you have a tutorial on show to scale a specific body part (ex:leg/thigh) without scaling the whole body w/ blender? I want to make my wick kinda chubby but never can get it to look decent
I do not currently have a video on that, but that would most likely fall under "sculpting", This is something that can be done in blender to modify your meshes. I briefly touch on this in 1 of my videos (fitting clothing to a model) But not in depth. I will eventually touch on this subject, but for now there are plenty of amazing tutorials on doing such!
Could you make a tutorial on how to setup gestures? For hand gestures and such? Or how to use vrc fury for all uses, i see you already have it for gogo loco though
I don't use VRCFury nor recommend it to beginners, I would suggest getting a grasp on Unity before using tools. As for setting up gestures, that is as simple as making an animation with a blendshape (I have a video for that) and then triggering it when GestureLeft/GestureRight = 0-7
what is the id for the hand gesture of a closed fist? i want to make a wrist cannon that fires with a closed fist also, how would you add audio for when it shoots?
Can you do a night vision toggle (that works on quest as well) or torch toggle on head with (for desktop and quest users) guide? I wanna make a public avatar which has all the bells and whistles but is compatible on both >_
night vision would most likely use a custom shader / transparency, so it would be close to impossible to make compatible with quest. There may be a way around that but that would not be something I know Torches use light systems, and I don't believe those are supported by quest either as they don't allow real time lighting (due to how intensive they are on processors)
@@PxINKY there was a militaristic beige rex I found once... It had a helmet that could be toggled on and off... Can't seem to find it... It worked with quest, that I'm sure off...
@@DDagove most likely using illegal SDK modifications to bypass the quest upload limit. Defently removed probably for TOS reasons If it does still exist it could be some unity magic as stated earlier
Throwing systems are a little more complex since they use particle systems and contact-to-disable particles But its something I know how to do, so ill eventually make a video on it ^-^
@@GR33N_VR333 Quest wont support transparancy, including Alpha / texture transparency this is a limitation due to hardware on the quest, and is not something we can really do much about
PINKYYYYYY! I could really use Your help!! can u teach me how to add dangly things (example: earrings) my issue is it doesn't follow my ear correctly after attaching it (my ear has a idle flicker animation) it looks like a Yo-Yo even after messing with the Forces tab on the phys bones (script) ur the only one i know that makes unity easy to follow along!
A few things could fix that, Make sure your physbone has "is animated" enabled Another thing could be how the bones are set up which could make it hard to animate an earing on it, that may need blender edits to fix try the first one, if it doesnt help feel free to drop by my server :3

I need all the knowledge you have dumped in your channel, keep this coming ^^
I LOVE the little avatar in the bottom right corner, having all those animations and tracking what ur doing. It's so cute.
Thank you ^-^ 💜
Could you please make a video on how to make face Gestures (with hands) with the new version of gogo loco?
It would be like any other kind of gestures with hands
done in the FX layer
but i do plan to make a video more deeply explaining things

Can you do a tutorial on how to make a toggle that changes gesture expression sets? (If that makes any sense)
Would there be any reason why suddenly my right hand stopped being able to do any gestures but my left hand can still do them?

Could you possibly do an animation toggle for objects for example like throwing a knife I’ve been looking for this for so long.

can you teach us animations? i have a floating follower on my avatar with no actual floating animations so its kinda just there
Ill add it to the list! ^-^
Pinky, are Gesture weights required for this to work?
Can you make a tutorial on how to make a 2d particle work on quest?
it would be like any PC particle, except you would need to change it to a quest compatible shader.
@@PxINKY I put it on particles multiply but it’s just squares with the colors of my particles

Can this work with your cloaking tutorial too?
Yes, instead of a toggle button you could do this instead
thank you
