- Love's Kitchen - Rob Haley (Dougray Scott), an up-and-coming chef and restaurateur in London, is grief-stricken when he loses his wife. With encouragement from his infamous friend and real life TV Chef Gordon Ramsay, Rob decides to spice up his life by turning a run-down country pub into a gourmet restaurant. His food catches the eye - and taste buds - of beautiful American food critic Kate Templeton (Claire Forlani) and they soon both write a recipe for love that leaves both their hearts - and their stomachs - full.

Nice to see Dougray in a romance instead of an action flick. A solid performance. And always great to see Claire! Meet Joe Black and Shadows In The Sun come to mind. And now this one too, a wonderful movie! All the actors here did a great job, the writer and director too. Worth the watch! Worth the detour! 🙂

Love this movie...breaks my heart when he keeps calling his wife's phone just to hear her voice..... I can totally relate.
I tear up too. This is my third time watching since my wife passed last month. She and I saw this movie together -- who knew? The music gets me too. Love it.

I did that when my sister was killed. Until her husband had to finally take her number off his plan. Thankfully I have some videos of her so I can hear her voice still.
@@melissajacobson2046 you are lucky you have videos. All I have are pictures. I had my brothers phone still hooked up, but at 6 months, my other brother disconnected it saying that was enough. I had to look to the future, not live in the past. Broke my heart!🥺
@@shirleyanneking5253 oh man that sucks. My brother in law had told is a few weeks in advance that he was shutting her phone off. I think my mom recorded her old vm mesaage. Sonshe has that. And I just found not pictures and videos of my sister yesterday. Made me too sad because my grandmas voice was on them too and she died this last november.

Actually very entertaining with some wonderful cameo performances and a genius move to bring Gordon Ramsey into it for a touch of authenticity. Plot was predictable but that’s part of the charm of romance movies. Thoroughly enjoyed this movie 🍿

My, oh my, there could be SO MANY SPIN-OFFS - including, mysteries, cooking, traveling, etc. Come on, be CREATIVE & DO IT!!! 🥰
I always love any movie that has to do with food plus a touch of romance especially when the actors are this good looking.

Went beyond expectations... to be honest this last food related romantic movies i 've seen where not very well made. There there are so many around that i did not want to begin after watching the "trailers". When i stumbled over this one i first thought it might be also that kind... but then were totally, positively surprised by the quality! Thank you for sharing this movie!

A good movie - enjoyable escapism.
I'm not sure if this is the fourth or fifth time I've watched this, and as much as I'd like to find something new, it's still a better option to watch again than think I've found something interesting until I get ten minutes in and realise I zoned out during the first scene, or wishing that I had zoned out sooner. I can keep coming back to this one over and over.
