We did go by your advice and hired Deep for 9 days, where he took us through Assam and Arunachal, covering Kaziranga, Nameri, Bomdila, Dirang, Tawang, Bhalukpong, and Tezpur. You can even talk to him to drive if you want to take your own car .
We hired him from Tezpur.
Car charge : Rs.5000/day (it depends on the type of vehicle)
How is the tawang hotel ? did it have room heater and power backup and did they work ?
yes there is room heater & power back. our stay was comfortable

To experience snowfall in Tawang/Dirang/Sela Pass which time is better? I'm planning for mid-December. But some people are saying that in Dec there will be mostly transparent ice and from Feb to April there will be snow fall. So I'm confused. Please suggest.

I visited once during last week of December and once during last week of January and both the times I could experience snow. Feb n March also not bad but I would suggest not to visit during monsoon which starts from about April ...

Can I ask a question. My wife and i are planning a tawang trip in early June with our daughter, who will be 11 years then. Will the roads be fine at that time -- we will fly from Delhi to Guwahati, and then further on by road. I am getting conflicting reports about monsoon in that part of the country.
So, 2 questions:
1. Will roads be fine , and
2. Will there be breathing issues, given the altitude?

First of all thank you so much for your encouraging words 🙏🙏
The road conditions are really good but during monsoon sometimes there occurs landslides for which normally people avoid going there during monsoon.
At Tawang there shouldn't be any breathing problem. From Tawang while you go to Bumla Pass due to less Oxygen you might get tired easily but that isn't much prob coz at Bumla Pass you just spend 2-3 hrs max.
Otherwise its a very beautiful place and I would recommend to visit during winter.

Hello...i am planning to visit tawang with my family in june...can to please suggest whether it is good time to visit tawang or not
I have never travelled during monsoon ... but I have just heard that sometimes there might be landslides...
Before going just talk to your taxi driver or travel agency
Nice to see your video well explained i am also palnning to visit Tawang in March this year can you please guide me whether i will be able to drive my own car by myself in my Maruti Ignis car with my Family
The condition of road to Tawang is very good only that its with a lot of turns and sometimes when there is snow on the roads you will need to put chain on your wheels. Till Dirang its quite easy to drive but from Dirang to Tawang you will need to be a lot cautious. If you have experience travelling on hilly terrain then it shouldn't be a problem.
@@SharingBliss Many Thanks for your detailed and quick reply i have few experience in driving in hilly areas twist and turns like shillong cherrapunje dawki kohima nagaland arunachal pradesh like mayodiya and namdapha miao etc....
But Sela pass is at a very high altitude i just want to know if the roads are very very narrow and steep and i don't have any experience in driving in snow at all if there are snow at roads in March
Moreover i hope if i need snow chain will i get there is it available there any idea

Thats good to know that you have driving experiences in hilly terrains.
In March you might get some snow in Sela Pass or near Tawang, its better you buy a chain from Dirang or Bomdila.. otherwise everything is good 👍

I personally won't suggest to visit hilly places during monsoon. Still if you want to visit, please talk to your taxi or travel agency about the weather conditions just before coming to Tawang 😊
Avoid travelling to Hills during Monsoon.
Best time is from october to march.
