Something about hearing Morning Glory whose melody inspired Super Mario Bros. 3 "Water Land", and the incredibly iconic Great Fairy Fountain, then get played in a sound font from Kondo's work is totally head spinning and cool.
If you play it at 1.75x speed you can really hear how similar it sounds. Music Book also has a motif that sounds like a mario song I can't put my finger on, maybe mario kart.
Actually, the one thing that immediately stands out to me is the way you did the vocal melody. Sometimes when people do covers like this they can end up sounding a bit lifeless, but this is actually really cool.

The MIDI for 'Ride On Time' and 'For You' was already transcribed currently so it'll take some time to try and make another album like this. The original album was already pure love distilled into musical form. This is pure love+childhood memories. It's impossible for me to listen to this without crying.

I'm ecstatic to have found this out of nowhere and to be a completely new face seeing and witnessing both these songs and this cover of them As well as to be beholden to someone who didn't just stuff this into some soundfont engine but went through the effort to use everything and anything they could to cover these songs. For You is also just so varied and one of Tats's best albums. Music Book sounds right at home with Mario 64. Man you made my day. Looks like I'm not the only guy that likes replaying this version of Morning Glory. It just works, hell you can even replace it for 64's ending credits.

I said something similar in a previous video, but after hearing Music Book, i gotta say, for the record, your fidelity to the original is so impressive. You just did a great job representing it tonally, as well as your arranging.

Your tatsu covers always nail it.. I don't know how to do it but you just capture the energy of the vocals so well when many m64 conversions tend to miss on that mark, and the attention to detail there really brings everything else together!! If you're considering doing more,, Spacy is a really underrated album of his imho..
