ITS OKAY DW! hmm with everything, angsty writing isn’t my forte, but most importantly how to start it 😥 i’m committed to writing a short angsty onion arc story for you and the others as well >:)
@@Lucky-be4li i see! (haha this is gonna be a long read be prepared LMAO)
usually with my angsty stories, i tend to write horror, so i start it off mysteriously :D
and then we meet the character, maybe they're zoned out or maybe they're just doing some normal things (with my double life au it genuinely just starts out with a voice talking to grian while he's zoned out, the voice sorta explains the soulmate situation and then pauses before saying "are you who you think you are?" hehe, I also had a dsmp au that started out with wilbur staring at a crown, and the narrator kinda talks about how lonely it was being a king :D)
heck, you can even start it out as happy, but then slowly start adding angst
i just tend to write mystery and dark tones as a beginning to sort of show "this is not going to end well" hehe :D
but anyway!
you can start out with many things!
to start an angsty scene then id need some more context on how to help! :D
(because angsty scenes come in multiple shapes and sizes, you can have a character crying, a character dying, or a character just going absolutely insane while the other characters are watching in horror 👍👍)
