If you accidentally create a wide mortise it can be repaired. Simply glue in a domino but over to one side. Let the glue dry, cut off the tenon with a flush saw then come back and cut the mortise again with the tight setting. Ta da ! Fixed

May be a stupid question, but how do you clamp these for glue ups? Especially with a long table?

I have thoroughly enjoyed all of these videos. One thing I would ask is a dedicated episode on the XL 700. I have both the 700 and 500, and the 700 can be a beast to handle. I struggle getting the same level of mortises with the 700 because it is so much more difficult to use. We have seen a ton of episodes on the 500, and the 700 is only mentioned but never actually demonstrated. Show the 700 some love!

grreat stuff I use the Domino for every join including inlay on a corner at 45 degree in the mahogany species used mainly for an exterior application just to add a bit of an interesting pattern , I enjoy your fun filled workshop ,I used to instruct Carpentry her in Canada to our indigenous peoples and in Hobart Tasmania Certificate III 7 Iv at TAFE Tasmania which all layout is using the ancient way geometry ,all my tools are either Festool, or Hilti concrete and specialty hand tools for fine work, Tasmania has some of the oldest woods" Houn pine" similar to Vancouver Island yellow cedar but without the oil,
Anyway great eposides from Peter Galitzine, Port McNeill, North Vancouver Island

Skip one of the Dominos and use pocket hole screws instead. Don't even need glue!

Interesting info, but way too fake enthusiasm. Dial it back, please!

I think that is Sedge's personality. I find it engaging and keeps the attention to the product. He actually knows what he is talking about and acknowledges any stuff ups he makes. No need to dial it back for me. Much better than the Festool Germany amateur hour.
