Let’s talk about my autism, natural hair care, and my ADHD impulsive shopping. While my ADHD (Dee Dee) buys everything she sees and wants, my Autism (Lizzie) takes issue with too many products and too many product choices. Me? I’m stuck in the middle and letting them duke it out. Who will win? I think I know. What’s your guess? 😆

Welcome to the awkward ramblings, of a Random Grannie. I’m a 64 year old grandmother who was late diagnosed in 2023 with ADHD. And this year (2024) diagnosed on the spectrum for Autism.
Since I need something for my hands and mind to do while I talk, sometimes I do my natural hair because it helps me focus and controls my aggressive stimming.
I’m trying to unmask and rediscover myself. Sometimes I exude low energy (and talk slow), and sometimes I’m over stimulated and energetic (and talk really fast). I’m consistently inconsistent. Sometimes my autism is the control factor, sometimes she lets ADHD have control. I love them both.
I talk too much. I over share and spill a lot of tea, but hopefully I will make you smile or laugh a little while we hang out together. Take your time, pause the video, and take plenty of breaks and keep hydrated. There is no pressure or expectation here.
