hi sideshow, this is somethign im really passionate about and i hope you take the time to read this but are you interested in making a guide on how to WATCH valorant "properly"? I know it sounds silly, but i've been struggling myself with trying to understand matches in a cohesive way. Watching sliggy helped me to realize most of the things i'm missing out on while viewing a game normally, but if you could make a video explaining your thought process (not as a caster but just as a viewer) while watching a **live** (not a VOD!) game, i think discussions around the scene would significantly improve...
The amount of people saying “Gen G played terrible, worst game of their season” is the hardest cope ever. SEN anti’d them AND out rifled them and they STILL were putting up crazy rounds to keep them in it. Can’t wait for SEN to win champs just for people to say “everybody they played just had a terrible game against them”💀
I also think the Kayo ult from tenz in that final round is more to cancel the gekko ult too if they were to use it to reclear mid or A, as soon as they hear the gekko ult, tenz ults and everyone speeds up
i think it’s worth mentioning the fact that in the current meta and sen’s current comps sacy got out of skye jail and can actually frag more instead of playing full support
On the ace thing, i think there are two kinds of aces, ace clutches, and well played aces, which tells how chalked the game is. If somebody needs to ace clutch, there is something terribly wrong If somebody aces just out of playing well and hunting kills, they’re dominating
another thing to point out about conditioning their plays, is remember the masters final from Madrid. 13-6, well I will tell you they had the same ults on the final round, so with the orb min maxxing you can get 2/5 ultimate s for round 19, but SEN had THREE, and they used it in the same order as well, this tells us how much research and hard work goes into these games.
Changing Sacy BACK to Sova, where i think he can be argued to be the best Sova player in the world in some instances, is a real testament to him and Sen coaching - just understanding that with very little play time on Icebox, goign to comfortable picks, especially for Sacy, can work wonders
love the Korea content!! btw, at in the round at 10:00, I don't think Sacy's shockdart did damage (or did less than you thought) since he doesn't even get an assist, right?
This is what Sentinels is trying to do with their Deadlock comp. They gave that task to John to constantly frag to activate her ult and create space in each round. Problem is John is the igl of the team its a huge burden for him to get frags, set a trap and continue providing info on his team. In both maps we can see how Zekken(game 1) and Sacy (game 2) did this. They funnel all frags on both of this guys to constantly activate their ult and potentialy securing a round for them. This type of play is hard to do in a competitive match since not everyday you can land all your bullets on the enemy.
10:02 are you sure he was hit with the shockdart? if he went to 20 hp in 1 frame without sacy getting an assist, then I think john got a dink then body shot through the wall. Though the shockdart may had pushed him into john's spray
