How TF she is underrated, everyone from boomer to early gen Z heard of her and she gets invited into all kinds of projects even 25 years into her career. She is underrated as a songwriter and as a person in general because there's very few people who seem to know what kind of MAGNITUDE of a person hides behind this "just another celebrity face", but definitely as vocalist she is well recognized even outside the music community.

They sold almost 32 million worldwide in their career, not just Fallen. Maybe she got confused because she thought it was about just Fallen.
32 isn't bad. Generally, if a band waited 4 years between records like Fallen and The Open Door they'd be done. They'd have missed their moment in time so to speak. She right strike while the iron is hot Amy didn't and it cost her millions in sales really. Average 6.4 a record. There would be millions of bands that would kill to sell like that. Being EV has never had a mainstream sound other than 1 song that's a ton of records. For really a little nothing band in the music world. She's made a ton of money being nothing but a choir nerd:)
