Not gonna lie, I cried tears of happiness. Saw the seires as a kid and rewatched and finished it a couple months ago and love it! Hearing the theme song, the animation, and seeing some of my favorite characters in storytelling back on the big screen is ASTONISHING. Eric is back! Also reminding me what happened to Charles hurt but it’s bittersweet. To me my X-Men!
I know alot of people didn't get into Marvel until 2008 but for me as millennial this show was my gateway drug to marvel comics in general so this trailer made me kinda emotional ngl😂.
I feel like a kid again from watching this trailer. I’m excited for more X-Men!!! The original series was one of three favorite animated series I loved watching in the 90s. The other two were Batman and Spider-Man.
Definitely smart for them to keep the art style seeing as the biggest fans are going to be the people who followed it from the early/mid 90s. And if they can pick up new viewers, they'll start with the classic look anyway.
I have been waiting for this drop for awhile. I'm glad that they retain the art and animation style. The plot twist involving Magneto has me intrigued even more.

Clearly you didn't see or forgot the final of X-Men animated series. Xavier DID NOT DIE! Lilandra showed up at the end and took Charles into space so the Shi'ar doctors could treat him. Professor X left Magneto in charge.
But the truth is that xmen evolution wasn't as big as a hit as Xmen TAS. I think that was largely due to the tone of the characters as a whole. I will say the last two seasons did however, become much more mature in tone.

I feel like there was a missed opportunity to say, hold your horse over, hold my beer, but hey, that's just me. I like that they are honoring the art style while still updating it. It should be interesting.

Goddamn....I love how DBZ sparking Zero and Xmen announced their return in the same way. The way they use those classic fat TV screens we all grew up watching stuff on with glimpses of Footage of the classic footage before switching to the new stuff to come. So good

Not a fan of the animation back in the day. The peak was the 80s with Spider-Man and His Amazing Friends, GI Joe, Transformers, and Dungeons and Dragons when it was done by Japanese studio. I wish they will do one with the What If animation. I would pay money to see that animation in the movie theater.

As a huge animation person this impressed me it’s very faithful to the original source material

Marvel 616 Jean had no children. Cable is Madelyn Pryors. Rachel Summers is from an alternate earth but I guess they’re not going by the comics.
