For example, people often quote the “I’m a very rich bitch” scene in S4 but they never talk about the scene directly after, when Nene was crying her eyes out to Cynthia cause she really couldn’t believe Sheree would let her jealousy (towards Nene success) believe the scam artist Tyrone over her. Fast forward to season 10/15 Tyrone really being a scam artist & serving time with the feds, the same Tyrone that had her sitting outside a restaurant & stood her up. Those are moments where her “boisterous” personally takes front and center over her feelings/expression. Or like season 6 with the charity event, Nene kept saying “no one called me or even let me know about this” but her attitude in communicating those feelings took front stage.
This was very painful to watch because both of these ladies were hurting and both had valid points. NeNe was fighting tears and you can see the dissapointment on Cynthia's face. You can see the pain on NeNe's face as well. Tough season for the breakdown of their friendship.
Todd and Apollo were the demise of Kandi and Phaedras relationship. Kandi chose Apollo over Phaedra and hid things from her when Kandi should have stayed out of it. Even though Kandi may not have agreed with how Phaedra was handling her divorce, she still should have supported her friend as best she could while Todd maintained his relationship with Apollo. Kandi turned on Phaedra talking about “you don’t even call me.” Like Kandi the women was going through some things and her family was falling apart. She’s not thinking about calling you to have a “ke.” smh Kandi is overly emotional and petty.
This show kills real friendships its heartbreaking. Watching this relationship unravel and Kandi and Phaedra's friendship unravel was truly heartbreaking.
Phaedra was always a little jealous of Kandi. Kandi was oblivious to it. I think if Cynthia spoke to Nene very early on how she feels like Nene didn't respect her, things would've been different. I don't think she was aware of how she came off. Cynthia kept it to herself too long.

I get where Cynthia is coming from because I used to be the same way. Cynthia was feeling disrespected and unappreciated by Nene way before the Peter incident, but she was just too afraid or passive to stand up to Nene while they were friends. Nene likely had no idea that Cynthia felt the way she did because Cynthia probably acted like nothing was wrong when they were together. So to Nene their falling out genuinely feel like it came out of nowhere, whereas Cynthia felt the falling out was the natural conclusion to their already dying friendship. All in all, Cynthia was the one in the wrong. You can't expect people to read your mind and respect you in a way you don't even respect yourself.

After watching both parts of Nene's apperance on carlos's podcast, this scene hits different for me. There's alot of background stuff that we were not privvy to and its now looking like the earlier Cynthia seasons she was putting on a face for the camera, and to keep her position on the show she tried the mean girl thing and tried to play in Nene face.
I felt Nené’s hurt, You could feel that energy pouring from Nene & the sincerity in her voice & I understand exactly what her issue is with Cynthia. It looks very flaw on Cynthia’s end. After making up & being in consistent contact, you begin acting funny like y’all have a issue when the camera starts rolling. When Nene said “you know the kind of friend I was to you. You know how hard I ride for you. I thought you were a real friend, that I thought I knew you better than that. I had your back when no one else had your back & I loved you like a sister” I really felt that because I’ve been that person to everyone in my life all my life & part of my life from toxic relatives & “friends” were very disloyal. Respect has to be established AT THE BEGINNING of a relationship. This is a prime example of what happens when you try to fight for grounds afterwards. It’s not that it can’t be done .. it’s just a very frustrating process which a lot of people cannot handle.

After watching both parts of Nene's apperance on carlos's podcast, this scene hits different for me.
