This was an awesome video!! So easy to understand. I have one question, how do you type fractions for like adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing?
Thank you so much. I’m in 8th grade but am advanced in Honors Geometry and to be honest, although I found this calculator in my own house, nobody knew how to use it.
Omg thank you such a lifesaver I have a benchmark test tomorrow and we need to square roots now I got this ❤️❤️ btw my high school teacher said that this calculator could last you all high school year even for college
It can! I especially like the Casio because its half the cost of a similar Texas Instruments one. Once you get to know it, you can use it for years. :^D
Is there anyway to flash or mod or a button on the calculator itself to scroll up for previous calculations? Just got this calculator and I'm missing that feature from my TI 34 multiview.
How can I adjust the exponent number on this calculator. Eg. 3x2 to the power of 32. I tried the x to the power of 2 button but it seems as it cant b changed.
I think the best way is to use a fraction as the exponent. For example the 5th root of 32 can be typed in as 32^(1/5) You must use parenthesis here so the entire 1/5 is used as the power. The second way with this calculator is to use the [Shift] and [ ^ ] buttons. For this the 5th root would be 5 [Shift] [ ^ ] 32 [ EXE ] When using this method you type in the root and then put the 32 under the root symbol. Both of these should just be 2 if it all goes well. Hopefully that helps out. :^D
when i was in school i used to go up and copy and paste a calculation that i was gonna use again so the number could be as exact as possible to the original. how can i do that with this calculator? i keep finding myself having to type a long number bc i cant just simply go up and click it so it can appear again
i know this video was made ages ago, but how do i get the calculator to give me an answer in a surd? i'm trying to put in 1-(1/rt3) and it just gives me a bunch of decimals but i need an actual way to write it!! please help
how would you type in any power root ? there's button for square and cube roots ... how do we use the x number root ? EDIT: you just have to type a number before the x root
You might need to reset the memory. This will clear anything you have saved in your calculator: Press [MENU] Scroll all the way down to the last option "E", it says: System Press [F5] to reset the memory Press [F2] for main memory Press [F1] for the Yes option Press [EXIT] and then [MENU] Scroll all the way up to option "A", it says: Run Now you re back on the main screen with a "fresh" calculator. :^D
When I tried to enter the math problem it just put an arrow next to it. If you can solve this problem thank you so much! edit: Oh wait I was on the wrong menu thing! XD I solved my own problem. :^
5E-03 is just a shortened version of 0.005 so when you have smaller numbers like 0.0000000000005 it can fit in the calculator and will instead say 5E-12
MySecretMathTutor Oh my gosh thank you sooooo much I couldn't figure out how to input the base because it just showed logab and was so frustrated. But now I know thank you, for ur help
Thank you so much for this. I have a SAT today and I just got this calculator.
OMG!!! thank you sooo very much! I let my math class crying and now I am feeling much more confident

type fractions for like adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing?
For fractions most calculators simply recognize this as division. So 2/3 you can type in 2 divided by 3. :^D
@@MySecretMathTutor Thank you!!!
