  • In this video, Sifu Singh shares his insights on how to maximize your strength, power, and structure in martial arts and other physical activities by using the power of 45's. As he explains, the key to achieving a strong and stable stance is to create 45 degree angles with your hand and body positions, which form a triangular shape that is structurally the strongest shape known to man.

Old-school boxers? They don't stand that way because it's evolved, horrible center of gravity. This guy has no business talking about boxing. But maybe it works for martial arts?

I'm too old now, but I would loved to have this guy train me! His methodology speaks directly to my way of thinking.
If I hit the lottery, I'll try to hire him for a month or six.

Hire Tommy Carruthers instead. Look him up. He does online lessons as well.

I just looked at some of his stuff. I don't think he's anywhere near the same caliber.

@@cornpop7805 - He is, but Sifu Singh is in the U.S where there's a bigger market so he's built a reputation and is well known there. Tommy would probably win him in terms of speed, but Sifu Singh is also skilled and strong.

No technique is perfect, but 45 degree angles are pretty great.

Good examples of form throughout. Cant lie, first thought on adding 45's was Indy gunning the showy swordman down for some reason 😅

Sorry to say for those that don't know, this is poor body mechanics. To get absolute power. He is throwing his body into the punches, but timing has to be precise. It's not for every punch. As he is demonstrating that it is.

One's technique is the best technique. Manny Pacquiao as an amateur, did not stay long in the Philippine team cause the coaching staffs believe that he has no future in boxing, but he became an 8 time weight category world boxing champion.

Seems like a decent thing to add to your arsenal. Folks may not realize it, but our brains are making measurements every moment of the time we're conscious. So using techniques based on adjusting your angles to a specific degree, and especially the more variety of them you cover, the better your spatial awareness will be, as well as muscle memory will line up with your conscious understanding of how to move
